Need to order a part; what does +core mean?

I need to order a new trim piece for my X3 ... REALOEM lists 3 part numbers, one is down as ended, which is fair enough, but there are two active parts. One just shows the part number & price, the other same part different number, shows no price but +core in the notes section.

Can anyone tell me the difference, and what the +core means? Which part number would I need to order against?

TIA.

core= ..... Core charge it means you buy the part plus you have to give them your old part in exchange or you pay a core charge

Ah, OK. Understand the principle for say an alternator or somesuch, but seems a bit odd on a piece of trim.

So, if there are two part numbers, one with a +core charge, should that part be cheaper if you then return the redundant bit?
