Nice meeting the members that I have met here over the last few years, but these forums have gone to the ****ter.

Had to make a thread to get my point across if it even will get a across to some of these stubborn members.

Same posts time after time, same stupid b/s time after time.

"What tire size for..."
"Which year should I buy....."
"IPod adapter install...."
"TPMS reset...."
"3rd party warranty...."
"How to lower....."
"Sound system upgrade..."

Mr. Wong no disrespect you have tried to keep it under lock down here but I'm off these forums , so if you can close my account please do so.

These newbies coming here and disrespecting senior members that have been here for years makes me cringe.

"Wow I'm a baller buying a 2002 745Li for $13k" and then coming on here with the problems they face want a answer ASAP.

i gave my reply to this post a lot of thought... instead of agreeing and posting negatory thoughts about the sudden state of this forum, i'll leave it with a respectful farewell for mikey! i sometimes ask myself why i still come here, but i know a lot of these newcomers will be lost without concrete guidance when these cars go wrong...

boy oh boy how i miss the way this forum used to be back in the days... now half our best posters got banned, and the economy went to the shiznat enabling "kings" to buy these cars for 13k, but letting people think they paid 60k... i better stop before i get out of hand....

The transition or evolution of this forum is pretty consistent with what always happens as a body style has run it's course. I don't mean this to sound snobby (I am far from it), BUT, our cars are now affordable by a different type of individual and I'll stereotype here and say it's probably a younger crowd. Generally, they will be disrespectful and they will be doing crap to their cars that will not be tasteful to the long standing members. They won't use the search engine and they will post the same topic above an identical one. As a long-time 7 series owner, I have seen this happen on E32 and E38 boards and eventually it is time to move on. There are still a lot of good folks here, so Mickey, if you can filter out the noise, then you can still hang with the old school folks for a short while until this becomes a hostile forum like all the others. Mark, outstanding job here, no disrespect to you. We go way back to Roadfly and other boards. Keep up the good work.

You know some people do search. If i cant find the answer, im going to post the question. Ive been on this forum for a couple of months, and ive gotten better help than the mechanics i take my car to. ( thanks to everybody that helped(seniors), especially TECH,)

I understand the frustration, but is it really that hard to ignore a post u seen before? You was a noob once. Now that you know everything about the car this forum is dead to you? that aint right!! you bailing out on people that has helped you and people that need you help.

No disrespect to anyone, just posting my opinion.
