Are bimmer drivers’ slow drivers or just smart???

Ok, I'm not sure if you guys have seen this on MSN but here's the link

Apparently we didn't make it to the top 10 or the bottom 10 of the ticketed list….….what's up, are we invisible or invincible?

I know I haven't gotten a ticket since I got my car about almost year and half ago, how about you guys? How many tickets you guys got since you've been driving your bimmer? Let's keep our own tally, shall we?

0 Tickets.......0 Times being pulled over...

Illegal Tint (35%)
Illegal Turn Signals (Hyper White LED)
Illegal Front Plate (It's not there anymore)

I have an Escort Passport 8500x50. It has saved me multiple times already......Cops in Ohio leave their radars on all the time....

Next investment is a laser jammer

That list makes me miss my Hummer, but I never had a problem getting tickets.... I had a black H2 than a red H3 and never had a single pullover.......

30k miles in just over a year

Only obvious illegal issue is the missing front plate.
But it's not my fault, the car came without a front plate holder!

Stopped 2 times and got chased 1 time for like 10 minutes, and got out of all the situations with no tickets. I think we're just smart

2 tickets, both dissmissed, cop never showed up

no front plate
illegal tint 20% front 5% rear
never been pulled over for those two things, only speeding

0 Tickets... 0 warnings in over a year, Ive been pulled over in all my other cars... never in the BMW

Well I haven't gotten any ticket for last 4 years but prior to that I got 13 in 9 yrs. I used several radars during thos time, Cobra, Belltronics, Escort Solo 2 and now back to Cobra XRSR9G. I guess it's not the car but the driver...

I was thinking of getting a jammer but in MN passive jammers are illegal. What kinda jammers are good and effective? Are Rocky Mountain radar and laser jammer any good?

I actually had a cop roll up next to me while I was doing 70 in a 55. He just looked at my car and started nodding his head. Then gave me a thumbs up and sped off.

This one city cop is doing his best to catch me in the morning. He has already cut me off twice, tail gated me for 3 miles and basically drove like an ass. I have a lecture and the court date planned if and when we cross paths.

2 parking tickets and pulled over once but let off. I've gotten lights flashed and sirens "whooped" at me. I think the angel eyes agitate them.

Haven't been able to drive all that much since I'm in Iraq however, while on leave for 18 days and after I installed all the Mods I was at a stop about to turn left; a cop went past in the intersection eyball'n me. after I turned left going the same direction he was going, he pulled over and let me pass then got behind me. Tailed me for a few blocks real close like then turned off.

I've had more tickets in my 2000 Civic Si than any other car I have owned.

0 tickets, no pull overs and I've been driving BMW's for 10+ years. I do tend to be conservative but from time to time I drive it really fast on the highway like when I had it at 120 trying to pass some jackass hanging out in the passing lane. He sped up but I made the pass. I'll tell you though I'm not proud of that moment. I was feeling pretty vexed after that . . ., get to thinking about the value of living my life and the live's of others. I tend to get seriously pissed off by these type people, then aggression takes over. Not a good thing.

I hate Cobra Radars. They go off too late.....

I was going to get a ZR3/4 Laser jammer that can hook up to my Escort. Or a K40

It's not really a *jammer* It's a scrambler that doesn't let the laser get a reading

pulled over a few times. ticketed 1 time for no front plate. the other time I was pulled over doing 80 in 65 zone but the Sheriff let me go with a warning... I got lucky I was on my way to an autox and had all my stuff in the hatch with the cover open (m coupe)

I've had two parking tickets, one speeding ticket, and I've been given three speeding warnings.....I'm a girl so I am generally let off easy I'm not a reckless driver though; I'm always careful with my cars.

I've got a laundry list of tickets including speeding: 70 in a 55, 81 is a 55, 90 in a 55, 110 in a 55, HOV violations, missing front plate, and failure to yield to a traffic control device. I've also been approached by narcotics detectives in the parking lot of a movie theater. i locked my doors and got out and they did their little flashlight through the window thing.

1 speeding ticket. 15 years ago. 3 college kids heading back to school after winter break. I-80 in Ohio: gentle rise approaching an overpass, gentle down slope after, over and over and over again. Cop nailed me for going FOUR MILES AN HOUR over the limit on a down-slope. What an asshole.

These days I tend to stick within the "10-over rule" and haven't been bitten yet. There are occasional excursions though ;-)

There are many, many BMW drivers that are clearly not car enthusiasts, at least around me, so that could explain why we're missing from the list. We're talking old folk and straight-as-an-arrow people who buy BMW just cause they are stuck up and think this is the car for royalty. (Which it is ... sorta)

Like the cops say. You may be able to outrun our cars, but you can't outrun motorola :P

10 pull overs, 7 tickets, 2 written warnings, 1 verbal warinng. ALL infractions occured when NOT driving my bmw.
I have been driving now for7 years.
Operator retraining program, 3 times and goin back for a 4th. Its all a combo of bad luck and wrong place wrong time kind of stuff. not fair.
