Time to update Google Chrome again

If you have Google Chrome installed, even if it's not your default browser, you should take a minute to update it.

Visit your Help menu, then 'About Chrome' - download + restart your browser to update it because the vulnerabilities fixed in this update are both numerous and severe:

http://www.compsecglobal.com/google-...-bug-fighters/

Quote:
The latest Google Chrome browser update comes with 33 vulnerability patches, including 13 that are high-severity. It’s all thanks to community contributors and bug fighters who submitted fixes for Chrome’s bug bounty program.

Many of the vulnerabilities fixed in this release were part of the browser’s engine Blink, but some of the more high-severity discoveries were for Chrome’s built-in PDF reader, PDFium.

Why are you going through a 3rd party?

To update Google Chrome:

In the top right, click the Chrome menu Menu.
Click Update Google Chrome. If you don't see this button, you're on the latest version.
Click Relaunch.

Pretty sure that was just an informational link to a story about the vulnerabilities. OP offered instructions:

1> my chrome was out of date
2> I had a virus
3> I also had a hack attack

Luckily Microsoft was monitoring my laptop for me otherwise I wouldnt have known

I clicked on your link Chrome Menu menu (sounds like Major Major). Got an ad for Amazon vinyl stickers. So what is Chrome and how do I identify it?

Start by reading and taking action on the first post, not the nonsensical second one.

I was trying to quote the other thing on your message, by Stuka (wow, who would ever want to be a Stuka). It said the lazy will never be rich. In my experience, the lazy are much more likely to be rich. The guys that go to work at 4 in the morning to collect my garbage are not rich. Those that go to their offices later in the morning are much more likely to be rich. Just sayin.

So because someone goes into work at 4am makes them not lazy but going into work at 8 does?

There was another part of the quote that had to be deleted, it makes sense. If I repeated it this thread would be hauled off to PS.

I had to reinstall google chrome in order to fix "couldn't load plug in". Before that, I googled the internet and found an Indian trying to explain how to fix the plugin issue in youtube. I couldn't understand what he was saying most of the time. Same with some of the other videos. Guys trying to help should at least rehearse their script and speak clearly instead of trying talk it through the first time in a video. OK, I'm not politically correct, too bad. I'm voting for Trump. jk.

I love the rolling sound, but heck, it was so difficult to understand. Only after playing it a couple of times before I got it, but it was easier for me to reload chrome to solve the problem. I like at the end of the video..."If you can't follow this video click here to watch upgraded video-with an English speaking girl.
