okay, msg sent... Short and sweet.

Well, she had a linkedin page, but it was totally not active. (like she set it up and forgot about it or something). For what the job is for and what the company is about I think what I sent was okay....and the mutual friends that we have actually look good towards what this job pertains to. Who knows. Got to think of everything you can these days in this crappy market.

Personally, I wouldn't make a habit of doing that. Just my half penny.

It depends on what the job is about.
What is it about?

It would use her social butterfly skills a lot better than a technical job would.

Wasn't Big_C a nightclub promoter? Or maybe just a bartender that called himself a promoter.

No its not a club promoter

...but a lot of my friends are very involved in the triathlon community, and it pertains to that. (I checked, if I send a msg they will see my friend list and basic info. In this case, it'd help-not hurt)

Either way, thank you for the advice gang.

Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. This job would be a heck of a blessing..a good opportunity (and we could really build up our savings ). ...and I think I can get a few of my moms old accounts to use me, so that would help. (she can't do this particular job b/c of her 'non compete') I've visited a few of her accounts in the past, and some I know from growing up (same town)...it would be hard work...but I think I would be good at it!

I got a nice email back from the woman I spoke with yesterday. ..I wasn't expecting a reply to my 'thank you' email. (I'm assuming that's a good sign)

I'm way too type a / ocd. I couldn't sleep so, just in case I do get the job I can hit the ground running...wrote up a list of docs/administrators/discharge nurses etc from different facilities I know within the territory this job covers.

Also re wrote and organized my notes from the interview, and wrote out a bunch of q's I have for round two.

I've only had one job interview before. ...this is kind of fun/exciting.

Oh....something cool. Our county has a Twitter account and is constantly updating with jobs....do some searching and you may find something similar in your neck of the woods!
