Car Sales

The news is forever reporting the status of car sales, and the January numbers for the big three show the expected decline -- about 40 percent down with Toyota and Honda not far behind.

Any body know not what but how much down BMW sales were. I note that in taking my BMW in for service, I see the same cars in the show room that were there in December, andi it seems basically the same on the lot. My contacts there simply say - "business is slow-" but thats all. Comments anyone?

Wow, BMW is only down 17%, compared to double that for most others.

And Subaru sales are UP

very interesting, Mercedes sales are sucking wind, as bad as the Big Three, maybe they need to bring back the free maintainence again to help them compete with BMW.

Definitely needs some more incentive to entice buyers.

I saw that, and I also wondered what about Infinit and Lexus.

Of course my biased view is that Mercedes sales are sucking wind because their current cars suck wind too.
