A lint roller works well, but what I have founds works best is my shop vac, with a brush attachment, the bristles are very long and soft and makes easy of removing partials on the cloth

Thanks for the quick reply. But my question is about the Raggtop Cleaner, not the Raggtop Treatment. I know the spray needs to be kept off the paint. But I'm wondering if the cleaner acts more like Dawn or Z7 when it runs down the car as I'm rinsing it off.

Directly from a Wolfsteins/RaggTopp representative I was just told:

"We have never had a complaint about RAGGTOPP Cleaner removing wax from an automobile surface. RAGGTOPP Cleaner is formulated for delicate fabric and vinyl surfaces and more importantly gentle on cotton/nylon stitching"

In my use of RaggTopp cleaner over the past 4 years on my Miata, I've never noticed that the runoff from the product had removed any wax/protection from the paintwork.

It may be a good idea to "soap up" the vehicle's paintwork, then clean the top with the RaggTopp cleaner, then rinse it all off just as a precaution.
