Attention all new members

hey everybody proud owner of an 00 323i and a 99 m3

Yeaya, my first bimmer...760LI!

It was a Jeep actually.

I lurked these forums for several years while I had a relationship with a 2000 328i, but she was a high maintenance dame and after 7 years we grew apart as I realized she only wanted me for my wallet. After an ugly and expensive breakup I left the hallowed halls of Bimmerfest to have a passionate affair with a saucy 2005 Jeep Rubicon LJ. I had found someone who didn't insist on 93 octane champagne every night, but instead loved to get wet and dirty. And she liked it rough.

For a year and a half we were inseparable and traveled extensively to places my high society gal had always refused to go. It seemed to be a match made in heaven. That made it all the harder for me to admit she had a drinking problem that I just couldn't afford any more. She had always been a hard drinker, but it had never really bothered me until I got a new job and started spending most of my time in town. She began constantly asking for money and my friends and family didn't like being around her anymore. I ignored it for months as the problems grew worse, but she had just gotten too difficult to be with, and so I decided to let her go.

My thoughts then turned to how happy I had been before in the arms of my 1st love, and so I began to long for the life of quiet sophistication I had enjoyed with her. There was no hope of salvaging my old relationship, but I began to search for another who could give me the same satisfaction I had felt before.

That was when I met my current love, a 2009 335xi, and in a moment I was completely smitten and forgot all my worries about whether she would one day turn into a gold digger as well. So I submitted to my desires and took her there on the spot. While I was not originally impressed with the long string of letters after her name that indicated the advanced degrees she holds, I have discovered that she is a most worthy companion who is 10 times the better of my 1st lover.

And so for the moment I am in awe and do not care that one day (probably just after 6 years/100K miles) she too will turn her back on me and become abusive as the others did. I am swooning to the siren's song (not the 5-0 kind) and I return humbly to Bimmerfest, able to admit that I was wrong to have ever left, and willing to introduce myself as I should done on that hot August night so many years ago.

Oh yeah - nice to meet ya'll too.

Hello bimmerfest members. I enjoy very much driving my 2005 X3 stick-shift I purchased in 2009. i also enjoy working on my X3 at the DIY sessions offered by the National Capital Chapter of the BMW CCA. This is my first BMW, in my younger years I drove a Porsche 356 and a Datsun 240Z. I am looking forward to meet online with fellow enthusiasts and will try to participate in the forums.

Hey all! Just got my first Bimmer. 2006 325i. I'm new to the luxury car class having driven my first truck a 89 Mazda B2200, to a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage, a 2004 F150, and most recently a 2009 Mazda 3...which I traded in to get my 3235i. So far in the 6 hours I have had it I AM IN LOOOOVE with it. Look forward to chatting it up and learning all I can.

Hello everyone. Just purchased my first European car and I went with a 2003 325i. Love the way this car handles drives rides and looks. Ive named her Pearl and she is my baby! Looking forward to seeing what fun stuff i can do to her. This a great for and happy to be a member!

Hey hey I'm Chad. Traveled to Henderson, NV to buy my wife a used 09 335i. It had 9,5XX miles and got it for $32,900. Has sport pkg, auto trans, iDrive, I thought that was a good deal. I'm 19 and this is my 16th vehicle (yeah not smart).

I'm sure you have some fun times with that truck also, I am trading in our 2010 328xi montego blue metallic for the estaril blue 335xi. My raptor is blue metallic scab all tricked out, wheels tires bumper shocks adjusted up, tune, oh can you tell we like blue cars?

I've owned a 2000 BMW 323 for the past twelve years. After 300,000 Kilometre, decided it was time to get a new car.
Test drove Audi Q5, Lexus Rx350 - none could compare to the X3's drive in my opinion so yesterday, took delivery of the 2013 X3. Looking forward to another 300,000 kilometres of fun driving

Hello my fellow Bimmer's (is that the correct plural?), the wife and I have a Ford Flex (family car), and are looking to do a ED in spring next year, currently looking at the 750 and 550. I saw some posts on here before I joined about not much difference in body style. I have a funny story about that, we went to a dealership in Concord (waiting on a windshield repair, so had some time to walk around), we kept walking up to 2012 5's and I told my wife, here is a 7! Then I'd walk to the back and say, "ummm, maybe that car over there is one". Even the salesperson that came out walked over to a 5 thinking it was a 750... craziness.

Off my rumbling, glad to be here, I look forward to this journey, any advice on a good dealer in the California bay area for ED? (I'll post over there too!), V/r, Tim.

Hello to all, just joing now. I have been reading this site for about 2 yrs now. I have found that this is the greatest site for all information for BMW's . I used this infor when I choose my retirement car , 2012 535i , ordered , tracked to USA and took deliver on 12/23/12 , Momentum BMW -- Houston . Thanks for all the info and the sharing of knowledge and your experiences . You all grew me up quick .
