hi everybody,

I am a prospective bmw owner with my eyes set on the upcoming F32, I plan to purchase the car summer 2013 upon graduation and came here to get help and advice on getting the right car and not letting the dealer mislead me. (I am also interested in info on ordering a car straight from germany, so that i can have the exact vehicle that I want)

I went to the bmw dealership last weekend to test out the F30 but the dealer insisted that I test the 135i. Which was nice and all but nothing worth long term. When I would talk to her about the F32 she would always shut me down saying the car won't be available for sale within the next 18 months (January 2014!) and that the 135i was sportier. At that point I realised dealers just can't be trusted at all and I do not have any friends working for bmw so the only way I could find valuable info is the internet (and thats how i landed here)

I am basically looking for somebody to answer a few "dumb/random" questions, but guidelines on forums are pretty tough and people have tend to have a short temper so I don't know where to post lol

P.S: I'm currently driving a below average vehicle and am looking for a RWD stick shift Non-US vehicle(240sx preferably)... but am also considering sticking to my weak car until the F32

New to this community

Hello everyone,
I am new to group but I've been a BMW owner for the past many years.
At the moment, I drive a 05 3 series Coupe with M package and a 3 series Touring. Yet, I am trying out the latest 328i with the new N20 engine. Up to now, this model may the right balanced 3 series car with some performance and the right fuel appetite!

Picked up my 2012 X5 35D today

Hi Everyone,

I have been a member of Bimmerfest for a while but have decided to post today as I just picked up my 2012 X5 35D. I'm simply in love! Its taking a while to memorize all the features and adjust to the drive of the car but its a great adjustment to make. Happy to be part of the Bimmer Family now.

Cool

Hello everyone!

My first post is a question. I own a 2003 Z4. I have been told that it and all Z4s built then are prewired for an alarm. Is this true?I would like to put an alarm into the car but I do not want to fool with running a new harness.

Howdy, this is my first post. I am buying a new F30 in the next 2 months but I'm not sure if on the lot or special order. I want to get a stick but there's not much selection and even though my wife can drive stick she's been suggesting the automatic.
My current car is a 10 year old RSX 5 speed which I love and will keep. I'm eyeing the sport but I prefer the turbine wheels in the modern...I'll most likely get stuck with the sport wheels.
I look forward to Bimmerfesting!

new guy

Hello,
Just introducing myself as a new guy to this site. I have been working on American and Japanese cars since I bought my first '77 Celica back in the late 1980's. I'm hoping this site can help me in my efforts to straighten out my '93 318.

Thank You,
C

Just a simple owner of a 2001 525i. Guess I belong in the E39 section.

Howdy folks, this site has been a wonderful source of information as I've scoured the interwebs for information on whatever BMW I end up with - currently eyeing either an 08 335 or 09 535, both xdrive. Since a purchase is happening soon I figured I'd join up and make the official transition from lurker to poster! See everyone around.

Red face What up!

What's up everyone. I visit this site all of the time and finally decided to join. I have owned nothing but BMW's for almost 20 years. My first bimmer was a 1982 320i in 1993, second was a 1991 318i in 1995, a 1997 M3 in 1999, a 2003 X5 in 2004, and I am currently waiting on my 2013 M5 which I just ordered the last week of August. I CAN'T WAIT. I will post pictures soonest. Looking forward to chatting.
