Hello all, thank you for the welcome, for quite some time I thought I would financially be excluded from the BMW manufacturer, BUT surprisingly the ultimate driving machine has shown itself to be significantly affordable, I am looking forward to purchasing (FINANCING) a pre-owned 2005 530i. Just wondering if I am getting a good deal for a reasonable price, the quote "Too good to be true" is lingering. Well it feels good to be among you all.

Hello, I have a 2004 745Li sometimes take a little smoke from the exhaust and it can not be, because the engine works perfect and has no fault and has no light on, have any idea that it can be.

Greetings! I'm a virtual newbie here but I have posted a few q's and some replies to q's. I'm on my third BMW. The first two were used but this one is brand new. So, far, I'm loving my 2013 335i X. I first decided to get a BMW because it holds on to it's value. Now, I drive one because it's the most fun I've ever had driving a car.

Hi everyone, I'm Khotso from Benoni, South Africa and I own a 2006 750i (E65).
Problem: overheating and transmission faulty messages. Recently changed fuses and list one without realising amperage and colour code then my problems started. Replaced radiator fan, radio toe temp switch/sensor , replaced oil temp sensor. Problem persists. What could be the problem?

Just bought a 1999 Z3 with 101000 km's 2.0i topasblue.
I have always wanted a kitcar so I had lent one and went for a ride the cost was not cheap round about 15000 euro to buy. But thenI came across this Z3 for half the price 7800 euro and must agree a lot better car. So now I am having a lot of fun.

Professionaly I work for a Alumium casting company and have the provilage to cast BMW parts SUMP M3 and M5 and of course other make cars and trucks.

the car in the picture is not mine but its the same.
Its was imported into Holland from Germany Hamburg.

Long ago I stayed in Alberton.
Maybe I can help.
The engine is getting to hot, maybe it is the thermostat it cannot open properly.
Just to try it out remove it and close it all up take it for a spin and see if it still gets to hot.
Otherwise put it back in.
Its also possible that your water pump has seesed or a belt is broken.
If all this still carries on remove the water filling cap and run the engine there should not be any bubbles coming up atherwise you got a head casket leek.

My wife Brenda and I just bought a 2006 650i vert white on tan driving machine. We are both in love with the styling, performance, handling, creature comforts... etc. This is our first one but will not be the last. Ironically we were in Munich over the summer and visited the BMW "Museum". The plant was closed on weekends so we did not get the tour. Now we own one. We look forward to reading stories and learning about our ultimate driving machine!

I have an '08 535xi and have an intermittent check engine light due to the gas cap sensor (must have filled the tank without turning the car off). Can anyone tell me how to reset the light?
