Hi,
my name is flycast. I`ll get my new X3 2.0dA in 2,5 weeks in Munich including "complete take-away show"; I living in a small village near Bamberg/Bavaria. Hope I won`t miss my 330i cabrio (my last two cars for 16 years including some bmws before) too much - but my back ain`t anymore that much flexible and even so my wife ... Loving 6-cyldrs. with smooth deep sound and the freedom of air in most cases my decision for the 2.0d machine very, very sane in contrast to my "normal" self so I ordered nearly all optionals. Now my sons won`t get wet eyes anymore when they see me driving off for flyfishing. I commit I`m not very used and busy in using fora so don`t aspect to much postings. Anyway I`ll post a photo of my X3 when I got it. With friendly regards ![]() Flycast |

Where y'at from the land of "Swamp People"
Hey! I'm posting from SE Louisiana and I've had my e39 525i for about a year now. Fortunately I've been intimate with the car since it rolled off the lot. I've loved BMW's since the 80's and am pumped to finally have one. I'm a DIY'er and looked forward to the research found here. I'm already on the lookout for an e39 540 as a project car...I need more torque!

new to the forum. im looking into buying a second car. its a 92 525i sedan. the car has 200100 miles and is selling for 2300. I want to use this car for at least four years so id like to know if buying it now would be a good investment. I plan on lightly modding it (exhaust and stuff) but I really just want to know if this is a sound car to buy. any and all help would be greatly appreciated

DIY throughback
Have heard that you can reset 745i computer by simply connecting positive and negative
battery cables to drain setting, etc. Is this true and is there any downside? Trying to avoid BMW dealership charge to reset handbrake after repair of plastic gear. |

Hello everyone, I posted a pic of my car last night. The Grand Am is not my daily driver as it shows. The 530i is. It has a completely new cooling system. It was replaced befor I boight ir. It looks like it threw the fan at one point. It has a new shroud and like I said a new radiator hoses and recovery tank. Anyone have any clues as how to teplace the hoses for the windshield cleaner. Replaced the pump but the hose is so brittle.

Hi to All,
I have spent the past year replacing almost every part in the car. But wait.....there's more...........!!! ![]() Now the fan for the AC goes on and off.... At first I heard a noise while fan was working and then the fan stops intermittently. I am trying to replace parts, but not sure if it's the resistor or the blower motor. Not to mention I replaced the driver's side window regulator and 2 weeks later the passenger side went!!! Geesh.... Can anyone tell me if I should order both resistor and motor???? Also where are they located in the 96 328i Convertible Thanks... (FYI, I am a female who like to fix things)

Hi - My first BMW
New member from Australia here having just bought a new 98 M Roadster. Has been a well looked after car over its life and has spent a lot of time in the garage with 70K kms with only 9K kms in the last 6 years and I've known the car for the past 11 years having been owned by a family friend.
The forum helped me look for the common faults (and it has some of them) so I've gone in eyes open but hopefully not wallet open! Will see what the first service next week brings.... Cheers, Dan. |

New car guy in Wyoming
Long time browser, first time posting... figured I should since I will be picking up 2013 335Xi in Munich next month and have read lots of good info here to help me find my way to the European delivery program, as soon as I received my delivery date ( April 5th) I contacted Beewang for SD card, this will help make this a perfect trip.
