New for the 2nd time!!

Hey all.... I've jumped back on the Bimmer Band-Wagon after a 4 year hiatus. I had a 2007 e90 328xi that I had to trade in for a boring Sierra pickup for practicality reasons (I couldn't pull my snowmobile trailer with the car). After the most boring four years of motoring I could imagine, I've just ordered a new 535i xDrive in DSB/oyster-back and I'm ditching the pickup (and the snowmobiles). Looking forward to being back in the community !!

Mein Auto: 95 525i
Hello All...new to the BMW scene...just picked up a pair of them though, both 95's...one 525i and one 540i...the 25 is real clean and will be a daily and the 40, well, it needs some attention, but only has 140k on the clock and runs strong with no lights on.. I have some flexibility with as long as the budget allows it.....consider myself a minor DIYer so far as brakes, exhaust, radiator and fluid type stuff, maybe a bit more if need be...looking forward to reading more of the awesome advice/knowledge here

Howdy to all from a NEW MEMBER!!!

Hello Everyone. 1 month ago, I purchased a New (to me) CPO 2009 BMW 650i Convertible. I will definitely post some pictures of it on this site one day. It's Black Saphire Metallic with Black Leather interior. Was purchased with about 31,218 miles. So far I have not had a chance to truly enjoy the car because of the weather here in NJ. But, I have taken it out on the highway a few times and absolutely LOVE this car. It is a beautiful car and I definitely look forward to putting a few thousand dollars of upgrades in this car! I am hoping that this forum and it's members will help me choose the best upgrades and add-ons for this car...

Thank you for reading my post and I look forward to interacting with other BMW 6 series owners and also look forward to sharing ideas and opinions!

Hello everyone. My name is Charles and 7 weeks ago I purchased my first BMW! According to the dealer, my 335i arrives in the US from SA on March 12th. I can't wait to get the keys in my hand. I'm looking forward to sharing ideas and conversing with all the series 3 members.

Hello everyone! I just paired a 91 525i with my 08 328i and am just starting to get it back into shape. Only 91k on the clock. The first luxury item will be bolting on some 17" E39 Style 32 wheels...when I can find a nice set. Looking forward to spending too much time on it like I do/did with my 2004.5 Mk4 VW GLI (for sale). Cheers!

Hello everyone I recently purchased a 2004 BMWX3 my 1st bemmer. Last weekend I had the sunroof back and to my surprise it would not close when I arrived back home. Took it to the mechanic $3,000.00 to replace any suggestions.

Hi I'm a new member with a P0021 code issue

I'm considering the purchase of a 2001 740IL with 40K miles. I had it inspected by an authorized Bimmershop dealer -it had the usual valve cover and P/S/ leaks but the one major issue could be a P0021 VANOS CODE. No light shows on dash and car performs / idles smoothly
I've been told it cost as much as $3K to repair or it may be a simple fix like a cam sensor..not sure if I should buy any thoughts???

Mein Auto: E90 320D Aut
Hello everyone,

My name is John from the netherlands. Last year I bought a BMW 2005 E90 320D automatic.

I love the car but it can always be better so I want to personalize it trough coding. I have some knowledge about computers, programming and al that stuff so maybe I can help someone out too!
I love this forum and I hope to get lots and lots of information from it thanks to you. After a long time reading as a non-member it's time to rise and shine so I had to register to the forum.

See ya!

Mein Auto: X5
Greetings All!

After ignoring everyone who tried to talk me out of purchasing a BMW due to high cost of repairs and other various reasons; 2 weeks ago I became the proud owner of an E53 - 2005 X5 4.4i with only 51K. This is the second car I've owned in my lifetime, but my first BMW. My previous car which I purchased brand new was a 2003 Kia Sorento (named Gladys.) Gladys, with 188k miles, is now with her Car God in Car Heaven as last month the tire blew and I hit a tree. Moment of silence for Gladys..... (pours a little Smart Water)

Any hoo...... In 2 weeks I have become a BMW enthusiast and want to learn as much as possible. I'm a DIY'er with everything as long as its within my skill set. My Dad was a mechanic in his younger days and he taught me loads about cars. So, I'm not afraid to chip a nail or get my manicure (or pedicure) dirty! I test drove at least 20 different cars in a month and I know without a doubt I made the best decision with purchasing a BMW.

Looking forward to learning and chatting with you all. :*

New members...

Greetings. I am a new member of this community and look forward to participating in discussions in a meaningful and respectful manner. I love BMW's and maintain several.
I do not race cars...BMW's are my families preferred car for daily driving. I am looking for some advice about my next BMW purchase. How would it be best to post such a request for information from the community?
