So far it looks like we'll see you there leeor! As it stands it will be myself, the Mrs. and our 2 newborns (Who will be born on March 25)

Also I found out from a friend that Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena always meet up to form their own "mini caravan" so I'll be a part of that when it is formed. If not then I'll find out where the LA caravan will meet and ride with them!!

so if I have like me and 2 or three other cars going is there any way we can meet up with yall when you pass Ventura...anyone else in Ventura/Oxnard want to join in? We could meet at surfers point or something...

6brit's got a good idea, the few that are from ventura.. meet somewhere and keep intouch with someone from the LA caravan, and then hop on the freeway with us!

i just hope this time the caravan works out right, where we clog the freeway up with BMW's not like last time where it was divided into 3 major groups, and like 9 tiny ones with in that.

THEYRE NOT DUMB. if were together or seperated they know when bimmerfest is... they knew when it was last year and were prepared. so it really doesnt matter... your like my dad latley hes been doing nothing but worrying about cops.

if were not doing anything stupid we wont get caught, and aslong as were in a bunch were safer...

they know everything... at 7 am what cop sits at the top of overpasses waiting for speeders? cmon.. be real. and when i got pulled over they mentioned it.

Does anyone have the exact location and time of the LA meet for the caravan?

I got a ticket going there in a caravan from VCR (Village Coffee Roaster, you know the big sunday euro meet thing) I was leading the pack though and doing about 90 weaving through traffic with about 20 other mini's behind me =)

If you wanna keep 'em all together, call the Ventura group about 2 miles before you reach their on ramp. By the time the Ventura group gets on the freeway you'll be almost on them. They can drive a bit slow until the LA & OC group catch up and they can join into the caravan.

....and as for the police situation, as my friends license plate holder says.... "Pigs wright 'em, and I fight 'em!!" (No offense to any police officers who are driving their Bimmer up to Bimmerfest lol)

yea okay well there's your problem weaving going 90. and no one knows the exact location for LA yet, someone will organize it, prob 7 am is leaving time ud wanna be there 6-630....

I'm down to meet up with the OC leg.

I don't think anyone has actually made a socal caravan yet.... at least that I know of..

Do you guys want to set up a SoCal Caravan for Bimmerfest? Anyone know a good place to meet close to 101 and 405 intersecton?

as far as I know it still hasn't been organized. My guess is we are using the same spot as last time in the Valley

same spot is a good idea... whoever organized it last year did a great job. right off the woodman exit... HUGE parking lot.. and better yet the only light to seperate the freeway is a right turn.....

i think its the best place... the lot was huge, i got pics and it was pretty much packed as big as it was.

well idk i was told it was better then '07 but i wasnt there to know.. 08 was my first!

Is anyone heading up on the night or afternoon of the 1st?

We are starting to organize a meet for the Caravan to Santa Barbara at the Rose Bowl parking in Pasadena for the San Gabriel Valley and L.A. areas, then merge with the rest at the 101/405 intersection. Anybody interested in joining?
