X1 E84 (2011 - current)
The new to the US BMW X1 will arrive at BMW dealers in the fall of 2012 as a 2013 model year. Get your X1 28i with either sDrive (RWD) or xDrive (AWD) or get the US exclusive I6 N55 powered X1 35i dDrive.

Dimensionally, I'm curious to know how much smaller this thing will be than a current-gen X3. If they're within inches of each other, then a lightly used X3 will likely be the far better value.

If its still working, and its a nice stable platform, why go to the hassle and expense of building a new camera rig?

I wish they would put out pics of the new X3. Not sure if I want it or bail to the Q5, or get the bloated X5 or downsize to the new 5er.
