OBC adjustment

Hi guys, just checking. I have a msg year 2007 X3 2.5 si.

In the E90, the OBC adjustments such as Fuel Consumption monitor, door locking or unlocking sequence etc... Etc... Could be adjusted by our self...

Can this be done on the X3? Or I need to go back to BMW to have it adjusted?

If it can be done, could someone post the instruction please?

Greatly appreciate it!

P

Because the X3 uses the older E46 computer system, changes to the settings require a trip to the dealer. The only things you can change are temperature units (C to F) and time (24h to 12h).

Shuck! That's pricy for some minor tweaking they probably can do in 5 minutes!

Let me go try my stealership... Pretend I'm getting another ride, and see if I can wrangle out a free adjustment while I test drive!

Thanks folks...

Alternatively, it does not have to be done at the dealer. An indy shop with the proper computer diagnostic can do it as well.
