2005 x5, What does this knob go to?
Cleaning my wifes car today and came across this knob behind the tilt lever on the side of the steering wheel. It chirps like it is radar or something. The owners manual has no mention of what it is and I am just curious if anyone on here has a clue. If I turn it one way a red light comes on, in the middle setting it does nothing, and turned the other direction a green light comes on

do you know what the difference is between the green light mode vs the orange light mode?
