Hoya,

PLEASE tell me how to disable this feature. I assumed it could be disabled but could not find any reference to it in the owner's manual.

This is one dangerous "feature" that I can live without!

Yes this appears to be a common problem. The garage initially tried to tell me that it was caused by pressing the 'lock button' on the key for too long. Last night I locked the vehicle with the very briefest of depressions and this morning the windows were all down again (and the vehicle was soaked inside not to mention the possibility of theft).
My car is going back to the garage again for checking tomorrow so I will update you once I get the next diagnosis

This is the first time this has happened to me in the nearly 7 years I have owned this car. My husband thought I had lost my mind but I knew better. I was so relieved to find this information! Sure enough, went and tried it and everything opened.

In all seriousness, this has happened to me twice. I posted a thread about it once before and everybody assumed I had accidentally pressed the keyfob. But, I live in a tri-level townhouse. the car was in the garage on the bottom floor while my fob was upstairs on the dresser. I still don't really know how it happened, but it has not re- occured.

Ok, now you have me second guessing. I also live in a 3 story townhouse and my key fob was on the kitchen counter. I did pick it up and move it once, so it may have occurred then. Guess I will gave to wait and see if it happens on it's own.
