It was pretty cool, interesting to see how they put those things together. Will be interesting to see the final product some day (hopefully). They said something about a Bimmerfest mini-documentary and putting video on bmwusa owner's circle or something. Who knows what else it might be used in.

It was an interesting gig. They were trying to do a "stop-image" style shooting technique along with some fun enthusiast types of expression by their German director.
"Unt you scoochen da auto's Gutentight !! Ya,ya !  I sure felt that 507 needed to be included in the center though !! Cars rolling into the line pre-formation.....  More of same..........  Camera crew hard at work..........  More of same.......  Directors P.O.V.  Lots more went on.....I'll leave some room for more pix from you guys !! Nice meeting everyone !! Cheers,Vinny

It was quite interesting. I enjoyed meeting the people, and seeing the cars. A lot of work and time for a little video. But that is true of many things.
Looking forward to seeing some of you again, and the video later this summer, August, I think they were saying. Dennis

For what it's worth, I didn't take pics/video because I know a director of cinematography "in the industry" and he has it beaten into my head that there can be copyright issues with doing so... and one should get the director's permission first regardless.

We heard about the shoot and they wanted Kelly's Dakar E46 M3, so Kris and I went over with her. I was thinking "well, my car isn't very colorful, but maybe they'll want an M Coupe included.. ya never know.." and then I show up and it's all Z3's, Z4's, coupes, and you already had a silver Z3MC! But hey, we all made it in anyway

Carpinteria HS Filming
Had a great time at Bimmerfest on Saturday, outside of my tire complications. The filming event at the high school was an experience that was great to be part of....
