E60 model ED delivery date/ price?

This is a super neat Board. Would the experts help:

1--When are the new 5s available for ED?

2--When are their ED prices released?

3--Who are thew lowest mark up over invoice dealers for order? How much above ED invoice?

1-beewang, who apparently has a basis to know these things, said sometime in Nov. at the earliest (IIRC).

2-You could get a rough idea once you have the invoice price for the US model. Deduct 7% from that to get a close figure.
But they will probably release the prices at the same time.

3-dealers will be at MSRP for a bit, presumably, in the US. Once it's up and running for ED, figure $1500 over ED invoice is a good deal.

FYI,
I just spoke to the lady at ED Dept. b/c I have a guy who wants to take ED for a 545i.. it looks like they're pretty booked for November, at least for the first half of the month. My guy's getting in the latter part of the month, so we'll be alright.

He actually told me that he heard a rumor that pricing will be, at the most, 2% lower than the '03's. This might make a little sense since MBZ had a price reduction for the E Class.

I got my ED from Joern Esser.
You can e-mail him at joernesser@yahoo.com

You have seen the MY04 base prices that have been up on CenterNet for a while now, haven't you? They surely didn't go DOWN by 2%.

I don't know what prices this friend is talking about, but if MSRP has gone up, I don't see invoice or ED prices going DOWN.

They've gone down On an "equipment-adjusted basis", right?

get your best deal

I'm picking up my '03 530 (5spd., all options save sport, NAV, and electronic curb feelers) at the end of the month. I got a great price a few months back from Sterling BMW. Arlington BMW could not match Sterling's numbers. There was no B.S. and I'm pleased with my purchase experience. Try Ed Aitkenhead at Sterling.
