Well P/S I left on my own...they only made it official when I suggested they shut the cesspool down.

As for SF...who knows.

The last thing I bought for my bike was a few gallons of premium today at 0545.

Love riding in the early morning and watching the sun rise!

As for tires, I went with a set of (sit down before reading this) Shinko 009s. My cousin had a set on his 08 GSXR 1000 and he loves them. He got 5k miles out of his rear, 70% commuting 30% twisty roads. he said warmup takes a bit, but when heated they grip like his old Pirelli Rossos. Plus, I had a discount from a local honda dealer and picked up the front/rear for $120! I'll definately post up a review after I get them on.
I have never heard of Shinkos.
I will see what i find on them..
I got my set of pilot powers for about 430 for the front and rear. If i recall correctly...

These tires are freaking awesome... They grip like no other i have seen... They warm up fast and when they do you could stick a peice of gravel with you hand on them... I love them and swear by them even though i havent really tried any others...

On my current bike i had bridgstones BT016 (i think) they were horrible... I would never buy them..

Just share your time between here and there and you should be fine... It seems as if OT calmed down a whole lot with the sensitivos....

What kind of mileage did you get out of them? I put on almost 80 a day commuting to and from work... I couldn't justify spending too much on sticky tires if they only last 2k miles...

I cant really say the mileage i am getting out of them cause i have not had them long enough... On my last bike i had them for about 1000 miles then the bike got stolen... On my current bike i have had them for about 1300 miles and they still look brand new... I think i read that they give something like 4-5k miles...

One of the most unique-looking helmets I've ever seen. Hopefully, I ordered the correct size:

Is it DOT approved? Who makes it?

Snug is what you want....but not TOO snug as to make your eyeballs pop out.

It'll be used mainly at night when I ride home from work at 2:00 AM when I'll encounter pesky flying insects.

Perhaps a windshield is in my future....

The Dragon is made by AGV (an Italian company, iirc) and is completely DOT approved.

I like that I can switch out the visor from tinted to clear, but from what I've read they are easily scratched.

Sorry to hear about the stolen bike, very common around here... From the reviews I've found on my cbr forums, people that drive aggressively are averaging less than 2500 from the rear tire, and about 4 on the front. If these Shinkos don't live up to my wildest dreams I'll go back to what I know, Pirelli Diablo Rosso.

Cool looking. I looked local to see if there are any dealers I can go try one on at. Nothing.

I hate buying stuff sight-unseen...especially a helmet...it's gotta fit right.

Exhaust for my Hog... I installed them and now I can hear the motor when I'm riding...and more importantly, others on the road can hear me. Not obnoxiously loud though.

Nice!

Mine is pretty loud, but I like it.

Stopped by the dealer today and picked up the 2010 'Motoring Accessories' tome.
Here we go again.

It's insane the stuff they have to spend your money on. Fortunately for me...I picked a "blacked out" and minimalistic bike...
