How to enter code into BMW Business CD player?

Battery had to be disconnected for tuning and the radio started asking for code. I entered wrong code 3 times and now it says, "ENTER CODE" and it doesn't seem to accept any more codes. I finally found the right code, but how do I enter the code now...? Help...?

You have to have the car on for one hour before you can try another code. You cen either be driving or have the key in the accessory on position. Then it'll reset and you'll have three more tries...

Thanks for reply. Does the radio have to be on during that hour?

You'll get a CODE WAIT after the third try. (assuming the wrong five numbers were entered each time.
Keep radio on for ~ one hour and the CODE WAIT will clear and you'l have the five dashed lines again to enter the numbers.
