M3 lighted shift knob

Has anyone put a lighted M3 shift knob on their 5 speed 325 or 330? If so where did you tap in for the power to light it up?

on my 330 there was a pre-wired plug. It should be plug and play.

Mein auto:
There is a normal ///M part that you can order that has 5 speed also btw, but the kit comes with two crocodile like clips that clamp on to the power from the ashtray light, its a trivial job, I did it on the 330i a couple of years ago.

yeah, mine was not plug and play, but it took less than 15 minutes using instructions off the internet. Very simple and stylish mod.
