Go for the sedan. Most of the time it is you and your g/f, but when it is you and 3 passengers do you really want those idiots trying to cram through the front door marring your nice interior with their beer covered shoes?

Why is insurance lower on a BMW then another car (of similar class).

BTW I think insurance goes up when you have two seats as opposed to four seats - the doors do not matter. At least that is what I was told years ago by my agent - as long as the vehicle has 4 seats. Doors do not matter.

You can crank out 110 in a sedan without even feeling it. Is that enough power for you?
