E70 (X5) 20 or 21 inch rims?

Just picked up my 2009 3.0 X-DRIVE with 19 inch rims and looking for input on OEM 20 vs 21 inch rims.

Any input as to the ride of the 21 inch versus the 20 would be appreciated. I am looking at style 214 (20's) or 128 (21's). The truck is for my wife and kids so I want to ensure that the ride is not too harsh.

Thanks in advance for your input.

21"s

So what did you end up doing... I just ordered an X5 and wanted to get the 21" style 128 wheels but the cost of the tires are out of this world. For the money it makes sense to step up to after-market 22"s since the tires are so much cheaper... Thoughts?

You want to upgrade to 20's or 21's and want to make sure it isn't too harsh?? Oxymoron right there. Want to make sure it isn't harsh? Stick with 19's. Want a harsher ride, get 20's or 21's. Runflats will intensify that harshness as well. There's already people complaining on here that the 19's are harsh.

Why not buy 26" rims and just wrap rubber bands around the rim????

People are so clueless when it comes to handling and performance......
