New Sirius tuner for X3

I have 2009 X3 and have been told that a new Sirius tuner is coming out this year and the existing tuner is not available for sale. Does anyone have any more info on this?

Thanks.

Just a note: If you have an iPhone you wil be able to stream Sirius.

This is from one of the radio rags I get.

Updated: Sirius XM offers iPhone option.
Satellite radio subscribers will be able to listen to Sirius XM Radio programming through their iPhone or iPod Touch under a new application made available today. The app will give users access to 120 channels -- but not Howard Stern,NFL football, MLB baseball or NASCAR.

I just got my iphone 3gs - the streaming works great!

I am one of them who likes listening to Howard Stern, so I hope they put him on soon.

I have the integrated radio on my 530xi. The streaming works better since less interference by trees, etc. It does not work at my house due to poor signal reception (I live in a valley).

Overall, so far so good!

My 530xi has the Satellite receiver installed and works/sounds great. My biggest complaint is reception issues due to trees. I live in rural NH and have terrible reception on local small roads.

I have not installed the Iphone yet to play over the speakers. I am posting a thread to ask for suggestions for connection to the vehicles. I do have the AUX jack in the X3 already. Maybe a DICE would be best. I ruled out the BMW Iphone connector as it looks like I need to have the phone out of the case to use it.
