1999 Z3 Roadster
are the seats from the 1997 z3 roadster interchangable with the seats from the 1999 z3 roadster?
Thanks for any info. |

Yes. But note that there are two types of seats, regular seats and sport seats. The sport sets are much deeper and more contoured. There is also an M Sport seat that adds more detailing. They all interchange. Also note that seat heat was an option, so may or may not swap.

Z3 Roadster seats
Was not sure, I have the sport seats, which have bad leather on the driver seat back, was looking to try to replace them with something else. didnt know if the seat belt latch with the tensioner was the same or not. Have found some non sport seats with good leather from a 1997.
Thanks for the help. |

You could replace the leather and repair the foam.
Look over the YouTube video for LeatherSeats.com and Z3. They have a video of them repairing my seat foam and making new leather covers. It's another approach to consider. |
