Exclamation still overheating!!

my cooling fan is not turn on!!! im guessing its eletrical does anyone have any info on this?????

Manual or automatic?

If manual, it should be pretty easy to test the relay on the top of the cooling fan. I'd guess thats the problem.

manual how do i test the relay.... i appreciate any help ive been have a lot of problem with my car lately???

I'd take a heavy gauge wire and run it from the + battery terminal under the hood to the connection on the fan motor... make sure the fan itself turns. You need a multimeter to test the fan relay... one of the connections to it should receive 12v once the car gets hot enough.

so i hot wired the fan and the motor is good. i put everything back together and the fan came on when the car got up to temp i still dont trust it tho... i waas reading my service manual and it says the fan should turn on during the first ten seconds the car is stared for a brief diognostics of the system, my fan does not turn on during this ten seconds. is it really susposed to or is my book wrong??
