I don't wanna BUY new wheels....just customize mine....

im talkin bout YOUR car, make both gold...

i know i know but ive painted countless sets of wheels andit ends up being around 50 maybe 60 bucks
and taping off a lip on the ltw's is a pain in the arse believe me i thought i was addicted to colored wheels
i think most color wheels look good like a bbs mesh type wheel but thats my opinion
i think you should try orange or yellow tho

Okay, list of projects/fixes/upgrades done since friday:

1. Cooling system (thermostat, both belts, t-stat housing, fan, fan clutch, rad, water pump).

2. Finally got my passenger side side skirt put back on.

3. Had the rear heat shield (which was rattling like an epileptic alter boy with ADHD coming down from a sugar rush and hiding from a priest) reattached.

4. Replaced Drivers side rear wheel bearing.
Replaced all 4 hubs with BMW (Instead of the Alpina hubs I had gotten with the rims- No, the rims are not Alpina).

5. Full alignment.

Not related to my particular car but...

6. Re-polished my C.V. to hand in tomorrow morning at my local BMW $tealership where they just happen to have a position open in the Parts Department. Discounts here I come!!!!!!!

^^Sweet! Those are some awesome parts you replaced that you will be VERY happy you replaced now, rather than when it NEEDS to be replaced.

That was exactly how I explained it to the mechanic who looked at some parts in my trunk and asked why I replaced them, (i.e. PLASTIC t-stat housing, PLASTIC impeller for W/P) that these cars are wholly aboot preventative maintenance.

In another couple of weeks I get to throw my lovely steel rims on with my winter tires, until then, hopefully there'll be another few good runs before spring!

Jealous of the teaser pic haha. I want crisp pics like that. ANd everytime i see you avus blue e36...all i can do is :drool: ..

Just these two I'd posted before from the day I bought the car.


Oh the next step for me will be to replace my foglights (for the third time since I bought her) as I made the mistake of using the cheap @#!$ing Piece of Sh!t bleepety-bleep-bleeping brackets that came from DDM Tuning. These damn things have cost me literally 2foglights, and the same damn one each time!

I was gifted with a set of PIAA fog lights that I'll be custom mounting (aka. cutting into my bumper cover to house them) but they are great lights and great looking with both amber and clear lights in them.
Through a little ingenuity I'll have them set up in the next few days.


P.S. I won't be horribly cutting into my bumper, it's just (mainly) to mount them, the bottom outside corners of them are rectangular unlike how the OEM fogs are slightly sloped.

Hmmm so some foglight fabrication? Nice . I still need to order some new fogs . Good luck with that, sounds slightly fun lol

Yeah I'm in college. Do the FAFSA, and look around for local scholarship opportunities. Make sure to apply for all the scholarships at every school you apply to, too.

I got a $20,000 scholarship based off grades and community service.

And PS, all of us live in the Bay Area - we're basically surrounded my mountains made from all the fault lines around here. Millions of great driving roads, I've got some right in my backyard. Best ones are on the Peninsula, about 30-45 min from me.

when im done my e36 will have a pair of steelies with drag slicks on them for the weekends
and who knows maybe a set of four some crazy color will find their way on my e36

post pictures of the fogs and make a diy!
