Yeah, it's the OEM mud flap. They've fallen off on most E36 by now, but mine are somehow still hanging on. I don't ever notice them unless I'm under the car, but I should probably get them out of there. I don't know what purpose they even serve in front of the rear tires, anyway. I noticed that a lot of older Saabs have them there, too.

No shame in losing to that. Those Revo tunes are pretty amazing from what I've read in EuroTuner.

Isn't changing the door handle gaskets a total PITA?

I don't think so. I've done the whole handle several times, and it's a pain, but I think you should be able to do the gasket without disconnecting the window or anything. You just have to push the slider on the handle to unlock the trim and then back to lock it again.

No not really...just have to be carful not to brake the plastic trim that the gasket goes under.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. I know full removal/replacement of the entire handle is a PITA, but I wasn't sure if just removing the gasket was more reasonable. Sounds like it isn't that bad, which is good news.

This, there is a metal slider inside the door, you'll find it on DIYs. It can be tough to pull and push sometimes though.

Yea, I've done the handle job three times, totally blows.

The Dude says: That's, like, your opinion, man.

Stance is perfecto for me. Looks lower when not looking up from the ground, too.

Thanks Frank. It's slowly (emphasis on slow) becoming what I have always wanted. I'm not going to be able to make any big purchases for it for a while now since I have vacations and other things eating up my money for the winter, but springtime should bring an exhaust, x-brace, strut tower brace, stainless brake lines, and possibly a big-brake kit. Ah hell, who am I kidding. My list is still huge. I also need to do all the chassis welding/reinforcing, get an LSD, etc...

It never ends.

My only stipulation about modding a car is that the mods have to make it better/faster/more purposeful.

Maybe you thought that because it took me almost two years to buy new wheels.

SS brake lines should be close to the top of the list Karl.

Once you get those, a nice set of rotors, and good pads, you'll realize what a waste the BBK would be.

I know a good set of OEM pads & rotors will stand up to just about anything, but I really want these...
