In other news. Got new tires for the truck. 4 coopers for 410. I think it's pretty good. Trying to fix it up good before bmw comes along and steals all the money.

Next is suspension, clutch, and other little stuff. How hard would it be to drop a transmission with just a floor jack and some helping hands. Truck is lowered too.
yes abe lincoln let me use his iphone 4s

and nice on the tires

if you can lay under it it shouldnt be that bad

I figure I'll just have to bend weird ways and make it work. The only intimidating part is all the horror stories I hear about reaching the top bolts.

Well, I finally picked up a Cobb Accessport, so I now only need to install my TBE + uppipe to go stage 2. From what I've heard though, tis a slippery slope which will invariably lead me to getting a bigger turbo + e85 + larger injectors + larger clutch + trans rebuild = stage ??? and 320whp...

ECS sent me the wrong bushing the first time and I had to return them. Now one of the replacements that I got has a torn boot. It might have happened when I tried installing it, but I doubt it.

Mine knock pretty much over any bump. They seem to be pretty easy if you buy the $30 tool from Bimmerworld. I got my old one out pretty easily. The old one also went back in easy (when they sent me the wrong part). However, I'm trying to bang one of the new ones in, and I can't get it. I don't see any DIYs for it either.

Check your rear suspension by moving the arms and seeing if there is any faint knocking or play. I had play in the upper control arm, but I also have some play in the RTA, so I'll probably be replacing the RTABs soon, too.

Im just confused a bit bc this started when coilovers installed....think maybe the spring is making noise not sure tho.

Are the upper control arms (rear) supposed to move a lot? Because mine had a ton of side play when I did my subframe, but I think it's more of a joint, than a bushing.

An 85 Lundell Pellet Machine. It was my grandpa's, I'm listing it because it's been sitting for years and my Grandma wants it sold.

Yeah, it is a ball joint, but you could tell mine was shot because, there was significant play in it, and not like a good balljoint.

And I just broke the boot on the other bushing

It's just a little rip, but god damn. The tool barely even touches the boots. I'm probably just going to throw them on anyway. But I still can't get them to go in straight.
