i hope everyone enjoys their thanksgiving day.

in other news, i stopped at the local wawa to get some milk and a guy asked if i was racing today. i seem to get that a lot. probably wouldn't pass tech to even get on the track due to an oil leak (will get that fixed soon...)

anyway. at least it wasn't a ricer who wanted to go stop light to stoplight...

But I thought the 9-2x you linked to before wasn't the Aero model, and isn't it only the Aero models that have the WRX engine? Basically, I think that 9-2x is just a 2.5L Impreza with around 170hp. No turbo fun, and that explains the low price tag.

Karl's right. The 9-2s for 2005 and 2006 are the Saaburus...and the Linear model is the 2.5 Impreza engine. The Aero has the WRX motor and in a manual tranny, are a blast to drive. Just be wary of high mileage WRX engines...they have a bad habit of eating their headgaskets for lunch. And speaking of eating...Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Maybe it's just me (actually, I'm sure it's just me), but I think that suede just looks messy on the headliner

I'm going to dye mine normal black when I get a chance.

Yeah, I don't like how that suede (looks like faux suede to me) looks either. Too messy.

I was going to do suede but that seems kind of the "norm" when re-upholstering headliners. I wanna do something different.

Neither does mine... I would guess that it's part of the evap system, since those blue hoses look like the hoses for the evap system.

I don't remember seeing those things on my car either, but it's been a while since I've looked up in there.

Government conspiracy?

I agree, Karl.

Pretty likely that it's some sort of tracking device with a remotely controlled explosive.
