Well, I'm sitting at the airport now, about to head down to SoCal for a business trip till the end of the week, and will be staying at the Sheraton Universal property - literally right at Universal Studios, and won't have any time to go. Curses.

And yes Karl, I am excited about a free burrito (15, actually). I never win stuff so it's awesome, and worth like $100 bucks.

I also plan on replacing the whole sunroof assembly with the one from my sedan. That's because the panel on mine fell off and doesn't move with the sunroof. So I figure this would be a good opportunity to paint the sunroof interior panel black (on the one I'm putting in). I also hope that the exterior panel is removable, too. Otherwise I'll have to pull the whole assembly off my black parts car.
I used the headliner specific glue spray at AutoZone or Advance, has held up perfect.

I does want, Matt. I'm juggling the turbo build and rear subframe overhaul at the same time. Making good progress on both though, have the LSD, have the turbo mani and others, and new rims, and lots of goodies

New wheels Matt. Also I'm waiting for my buddy to get a welder, then I'm gonna do my exhaust. Wont be neat looking or AA fancy, but its gonna be 3" or 3.5" with just a muffler. It will sound like Jesus

I'd talk to some tuning companies before you make your own exhaust. I'm by no means saying you shouldn't make your own, but you should definitely tap into some sort of R&D data before picking your dimensions. The only reason I say this is because the other half of my automotive life is hot rods & muscle cars, and it's more common than not for people in that world to use the biggest carb, intake, headers, and exhaust on their engine without any consideration of component integration. Soooo many people sap their engines of power because they chose their parts incorrectly, thinking that bigger is always better.

What wheels?

I would get a resonator too, won't really quite it down, but make it less raspy and nice.

The geology department at my college just got a river system model (that's fancy talk for a slightly inclined 5' long 6" deep aluminum pan full of high tech plastic sediment analog and a pump) I foresee very little homework getting done as long as I have a key to the room where it's stored.

Received good and bad news today...

Bad news.. I cant re-take a comp science class that i failed 3 times (i know...) for another 3 years, so I dont know what to do about that at the moment. Kinda depressing, and fcuked up since 2 D's and an F is killing my GPA..

Good news.. The calc 3 class I need as a pre-req to take all my engineering/physics classes next sem was previously full causing me to grow grey hairs.. Stupid thing is, between the two CC's I go to, there is only ONE calc 3 class with a 25 student capacity which was full the first day of registration. I been keeping a hawks eye on the student cap and someone finally dropped just now so i took the spot!! yesss so next semester is going down!!

Both are bad news in a way.. Just means next semester, and the coming semesters, are going to be hell. Fack it. Life sucks

Its a surprise Matt.

Karl, the exhaust is being re-done for the FI setup. I'm doing it beforehand though, so I have less to do in the install week. I know exactly where you're coming from with the hotrodding world too, I myself am guilty of using the bigger is better logic as well... Medium cam, RPM intake, 600 cfm 4bbl mech secondary carb, long tube headers into a 3.5" collector which goes to a 3" exhaust with cheapo glasspacks on a SBC 327. Not racing engine but I guess around 350ish bhp. from the factory it had 275-300hp (according to the numbers, it was out of a Camaro though so who knows). Too bad the car its in weighs ~5k lbs and has 2.73 open with a slush glide

Anybody know anything about these Beyern wheels? Some desperate guy wants to trade me them for a stock 325 muffler and possibly some sedan door panels.

Eh, they look ok IMO. Not for my car, but for resale. It could also be the hideous car they are mounted on.

CJ, it doesn't matter, I would do it. The panels and muffler are worth nothing.

All I know is they're ugly as sin. But like Matt said it's better than a stock muffler and panel. Do it for resale.
