Just figuratively pacing in circles over here... I've got a job interview tomorrow morning. As is always the case with these sorts of things, I'm sort of excited for it, but mostly I wish it was over with. Breath deeply...

But if I get it, it will certainly mean good things for my E36.

Well, initial reports of teh damages are looking pretty good in favor of my wallet. I didn't see any major bend on any suspension part, and all the bushings looked ok (as in not ripped to shreds). I mounted teh new wheels and bumper, and despite some funky noises at first, they dissipated as the car wore back in.

There's an interesting noise coming from the left rear, though it doesn't sound suspension related, the car will be put on a lift soon and fine-tooth picked.

After all is said and done, off to the alignment shop. Once they have the car straight and true, let teh high speedz begin!

Here's a few pics...I'm part Lou now, the tire is my version of a racing slick (which as I came to find out doesn't work well in snow), and what a schwarz car looks like with a calypso bumper

To fit obd2 midpipe all i have to do is plug the 2 o2 holes and weld in a new bung pre cat for o2 sensor correct?
you can go to a muffler shop that does custom work and get the plugs and a bung for cheeps. i did a little quick pictorial on this as i just did this to cadence.

i would put a bevel on the bung where it gets welded down to help it fit better, and i would use a stepped drill bit to drill the hole instead of trying what i did. you can't see it once assembled, but it would be much better to have used a proper bit. (mine had obsconded...)

Jesse, I think you'll be happier with the Borla once you get your new midpipe on. The Umnitza, while nice, is pretty loud from what I can gather.

GL on the interview Karl.

Jorge, no Alcantara?

Just changed the oil on the E39, looked like it had been in there forever. Using M1 0W-40. Feels weird using something so thin......
