there's one sitting in my classrom right now next to a viper 8.0 v10 (im sitting in the back of the classroom )

when class ends im going to go measure it and see what can be done.

my only real concern is that the intake manifold sits too high....

Hood scoop

I bet wiring that ****** would be a nightmare.

I might need more than a hood scoop IE no hood, spaced hood, fiberglass molded hood.

Need to wire basics if I use the stock computer, starter, fuel rail, and power to the ecu.

I dont like wiring either, but 450ft lbs of tq from a 8.0 v10 sounds like fun

V10 would be so nuts.... A guy I went to college with had one swapped into his Mustang GT.

Don't forget south east, and Orange ave/Melrose... and Day ave... and all the areas off 10th street.

I used to go to school by going Orange to 5th Ave to Campbell to Melrose to get over to the Patrick Henry area. I'll never forget one time I was sitting there (in the afternoon I think) and there was some random guy on a porch of one of those houses on Campbell near Melrose (where that old gas station and that ghetto detail shop and the church are) with what looked like a Beretta grip sticking out of his pants, just staring at me.

I seriously thought about rearranging my commute to go around the other side of town.

But seriously, Roanoke is an awesome place to live. Big enough to feel like a city, small enough to not get congested and keep you too far away from the fun roads. Its got a few bad areas but the vast majority is middle class and up or just plain rural, and people don't rush as much. There is a solid chance I'll move back home in a few years and buy a house in the Grandin area.

Northern VA is nothing but D.C. Extended, horrible traffic, people so spoiled you wonder how they go on living when they break a nail, and parts that people have told me are "bad parts of town" look like perfectly decent places to live. Also, there is a reason Im not shopping for a newer bimmer as a DD, living up here and every car being a boring E90 or E60, and seeing the general douchiness of the people that own them, has almost completely turned me off to buying another. (almost)

Yea there are a few sketchy parts but I love it here...we bought a house near lakeside...I love it.

I wonder what other engine can you swap on the e36?.... Besides the LS1 or 2jz..
