COD is a C-2 or C-2A Greyhound. Lot smaller than a C-130.

^Those are VRC-30's birds. They're the West Coast C-2 squadron located in San Diego. There's one C-2 squadron on each coast, and one detachment in Japan.

For a show car Joe?

I'd sell the 5 series first.

What doesn't?

This is the list of known broken 'stuff'
1. Guibo
2. Sloppy Shifting (Short Shifter kit w DSSR)
3. Rear Shock Mounts
4. rear transmission output shaft seal
5. Expansion Tank mounting plate (17111436250)

These may be bad, based upon the soft 'clunk' I hear if I don't perfectly rev match on my shifts
1. Engine & tranny Mounts
2. Diff bushings

This is what I read (or was told by my trusted bf & e46 fanatics friends) that I should change while I'm in there:
1. Clutch
2. Slave Cylinder
3. Throwout bearing
4. Input shaft seal
5. Lower Shift boot
6. Center support bearing
7. Starter
8. The engine

But, I have no idea how much time it will take for this stuff (or heck, if it even really should be done together...I did start to put together a draft parts list). Maybe I should just give up and buy a Honda

If you guys can/do decide to help...lots of beer and food for all (since I can't cook you a nice meal like I did for CJ and Dino )

Yep, Dino...broken list on the touring . Sometimes I kick myself for buying a higher mileage car being such a car repair noob with almost no free time

I thought you had it PPI'ed before you bought it? Surely all that hasn't broken SINCE you got it? I know there were a couple of items on the PPI list, but geez.......

I did have a PPI out in Cali, but it was not as thorough as I would have liked (they found the power steering leaks, gasket leaks, etc) When my regular mechanic PPI'ed it (once I got it home) he found the guibo, etc.

And there were so few manuals and I didn't have a winter car...so I got it. Beginners stupidity with higher mileage BMWs, I guess....

Nope...Usually, I commute to Minneapolis for work Monday 4:30am to Thursday at midnight. . Last two weeks I was in Boise (with a weekend in Seattle in between).

For the car or the subframe? It's either AKG or Turner I believe.

The ones that go on the car. A few suppliers have them for $90, but that seems high to me for a few plates...

AKGs are only $35 and are a LOT easier to apply that Turners

I'm getting those, too. But I'm talking about the ones that go above the subframe.
