Was surfing the net looking for something different and stumbled across this.

http://xs-power.com/bmw-turbokits-1.htm

Anyone ever heard of them or anything about them? Not planning on buying one, just curious about any chatter anyone's heard first hand. Net chatter is hit or miss based on quality issues. Seems you either get a good turbo that lasts or a bad one that blows up quickly.......

lesseee....um,,no, no, don't know, and i wouldn't if i were you...

those are the correct answers, but in no particular order, so you guys will hafta figure out the questions...

srsly, jelly on the benz. looks good. cj just caught one with a bad motor... but i woulda rocked it if i had the funds and were closer...

no idea as to what happened to the coil over lady but i got the impression that she was trolling or trying to get some cheap advertising. i think she got laughed off the forum??

that turbo 'kit' looks 'super big incomplete' to me...

but for that sorta of money, the wannabe's will pony up teh funds and hammer down and blow up the motor.

like the chair. is that on of those tie on chair cushions?? or did you redo the upholstry??

With two cats, any fabric item needs to washable.

It's too bad my first track event wasn't along the East Coast...would be nice to see a friendly face. Oh well, guess I will just have to meet more fun folks But maybe we'll have to have Taco night at my Mom's in honor of my e36s buddies who helped me get into this funness that is BMW racing!

'Sup dudes. Just got back from the track (watching the SOVREN historics fall finale). Took some photos... I'll probably post some more in the "hot cars" thread later tonight as I continue processing them.

It was actually gonna be the s1000rr and the RSV4, but I didn't get a chance
The one free block of 24hrs I had to ride them has since passed, and they dont have both available very often. I could still have the s1000rr for 24hrs for $180, which I still may do..

Exciting thing I saw today was a Panigale w/ABS for $16999 locally, which hopefully means they'll be easy to find for cheap in the next year or so

I think finding the throttle bodies and fitting them to the head is the hard (read: expensive) part. The manifold is the easy part.

^This. That manifold is pretty much useless unless you have an s54. ITB's on any e36 motor is stupid expensive, and not worth the work for the power increase. Good price to flip if its a decent brand. Those regularly go for 1k+...

In other news, just bought a nikon d5100 ....... super excited!

Ah alright. I wasnt sure what was the "expensive" part. But being BMW, I shoulda known the entire thing would be "expensive" Its a carbon fiber intake, I'll see what brand when he replies and if its a good brand, flip it time!

How do you like it so far Alan? I've been kicking around the idea of upgrading from my D50, and Nikon would be the brand I'd stick with...
