You don't want Borla. You want Corsa. You have been obsessing over the dual canister for years now Karl. Don't settle.

This still pisses me off to no end. How are people nasty enough to let their cats piss a f*cking hole in the floor? Forget the damage to property, think about how the pet has to live.

I've had cats and dogs my entire life, we moved out of our 105 year old farmhouse after living there for 14 years, no pet damage to speak of. The fact that enough people neglect their pets to cause an entire industry to ban them or place an absurdly high, discouraging cost on having them makes me want to move to another planet.

People fvcking suck.

I am undecided, for sure, but ultimately I think a Corsa may be too loud for me. The problem is that I haven't heard any of these exhausts in person.

Oh god. Ken's Corsa makes me hard. I don't know if it drones, but it's not much louder than my supersprint at idle, and sounds like a chorus of angels at WOT.

My folks might be convinced to part with my old 328i 4D for the right price. They still use it, though. It's a good project car. Runs fine, but tons of little things that are annoying. I can ask them, but they'd probably take 2-3k. It's in Warsaw, VA.

I hate to tell you, but there's a sadly large contingent of people out there who don't live like the rest of us. I don't know what causes it, but these people just don't give a flying fvck about taking care of themselves, their animals, or their property. And a lot of people are just plain slobs.

I wouldn't have understood it either without seeing it first hand.

Don't know if I mentioned it before but my parents once had a family as tenants in a property, very "free spirited". Didn't believe it was moral to correct or teach their children anything, just let them learn it all on their own.........including potty training. Mom went over there for an inspection and the parents had their 18 month son and 3 year old daughter running around stark naked. The mom explained they didn't like diapers and hadn't decided to use the toilet yet so they let them stay naked so they wouldn't have to change their clothes when they did their businesses around the house.

Yes, seriously.

I'll get the VIN and mileage if I can. I think they're off at a wine festival or something.

It's not drone that I'm worried about. It's being too loud during regular driving that I'm worried about. I don't really want something that echos off the walls when you're just cruising around town normally. You guys gotta remember, I'm a slightly older, distinguished gentleman. Gotta keep my boy racer side down to a minimum...

Trust me...after owning this property for 6 months and understanding the depth of the problem, I wanted to move to another planet. Instead, I removed the entire first floor on my house. Literally. I could stand in the front doorway and look into the basement.

Oh, crap. We forgot to take Jared up on his offer for Bimmerfest East wine. It woulda gone great with dez tacos.... Not that we had any problems finding alcohol

Good news on the e39 front!

My car will be getting all brand new OEM parts, including a OEM M5 front end, grill, fogs, ect. M5 door trim (also from bmw) and some other niggles fixed. and the best part is it wont cost me a dime!

Long story short, OEM M5 bumper is 150ish or so more than OEM 528 bumper, insurence gave me over $500 to replace my one ****y ebay headlight. well i still have my OEM ones that are in nice shape. so theres an extra $500 for me to play with.

So I get to mod the e39 with some very tasty OEM brand new goods, and probably have a little bit left over. Thank you random lady who cant drive

now I need some coils and some wheels

Isn't that what this UUC/Corsa is supposed to do?

http://store.uucmotorwerks.com/share....asp&x=17&y=18

Otherwise you could just scoop up a used M3 exhaust, tiny little bit louder than stock, but very, very conservative.

If I planned to daily my car for more than another 6-8 months my B&B would be history, so I know what you mean. I love how loud and obnoxious my car can be, and when you're going WOT it sounds like angels fornicating, but I want to be able to choose when to drive it.

I think Borla is probably the preferred route to go for me. Louder than an M3 exhaust, but quieter than a Corsa. An M3 exhaust would be too quiet for me.

problem is the stock cats give the car so much drone...

catless midsection + stock resonators, and a blow through vibrant = quiet at idle and every day driving and an explosive howl at the 7000rpm happyland

Frank, do you still think it's a good idea to swap in glasspacks for my cats after emissions? Remember, my OBDII midsection came without resonantors. Also, it's gonna be kinda hard to weld in new pipes where the cats were because they are angled. Maybe I'll just gut them? I guess they might act like a resonator if I do that...
