I see, I see. I truly appreciate your perspective, it makes me realize and think to be more intentional about artistic choices.

Now, who's next to get a photoshoot? I'm wildly looking to build my portfolio.

Joey had mentioned he wanted a shoot, but couldn't since I'm on the other side of the country. If a bunch of you east coasters wanted to get together and pitch in for a plane ride, I'd gladly shoot all your cars for free.

Keep at it James! You've got a talent for this! Too bad we didn't think about a shoot before Bimmerfest East, a bunch of us had our cars there.

I might be able to ship you a mock up of one of my law enforcement products to see what you can do with it if you're willing to give it a try......

Spent all day replacing the valve cover gaskets, expansion tank and belts on the E39. We got the wrong gaskets so we had to make a last minute dash to Olympus to get the right ones. Speaking of which, I had no idea we had a euro parts distributor in town. Totally saved our asses.

It is beeeeer muddafukin thirty.

Sweet! I've always wanted a roll cage in my DD, like a budget GT3 RS

I'm really tempted to buy a front mount intercooler and bigger turbo for my car.. Not exactly sure why, but the HP bug has come out of nowhere and it bit me pretty good

We're putting a downpipe and fuel pump on my cousins 06 WRX next weekend. Then he can finally go to Cobb stage two. Should be a big deference.

I also have him talked into a bigger top mount intercooler and bigger turbo. Both bigger than STI of course.

Cowboy at the Pearly Gates!

“Have you ever done anything of particular merit?” St. Peter asked.

Well, I can think of one thing,” the cowboy offered.

“On a trip to the Big Horn Mountains out in Wyoming, I came upon a gang of bikers who were threatening a young woman. I directed them to leave her alone, but they wouldn’t listen. So, I approached the largest and most tattooed biker and smacked him in the face, kicked his bike over, ripped out his nose ring, and threw it on the ground. I yelled, “Now, back off or I’ll kick the s**t out of all of you!”

St. Peter was impressed, “When did this happen?”

“Couple of minutes ago.”

What would be the cause of my driver side rear wheel squeaking while in movement?

Before it used to squeak only when hitting the breaks but now it makes noises when I engage the clutch or just when it moves it squeaks. using the breaks it squeaks even louder (sort of like something scrapes against something very briefly)

Just the downpipe, or does he have a catback as well? I"m pretty sure all Cobb Stg 2 tunes are supposed to have at least a catback (and a better flowing air filter, supposedly), and a bigger fuel pump shouldn't be necessary but would be a good idea for the future big turbo

I'm torn, because while I wanna get an 18g turbo and a FMIC to shoot for 280-300whp, I know my trans probably wouldn't hold on very long. I want a 6 speed swap, but I also dont have $2k to drop on parts for one. Im planning on rebuilding the motor with new pistons/rings, new headgasket, timing belt/water pump etc this winter or early next year because i've got pretty high mileage (186k), and that would be necessary for anything more than my current stage 2

He already has the catback. And I forgot he has an intake as well.

unfortunately I know nothing about turbos for those cars. I suggested something around a gt30r.

I wouldn't worry about the Tranny, just shift kinda easy and don't launch hard.

Nice idea with the engine, might as well upgrade it too!

dude, check your bearing. i remember that happend to me. My rotor would rubb up against the caliper making a weird noise.

The issue with my trans is that with the higher mileage, my syncros are already getting pretty bad, and it doesn't like going in reverse unless I rock it forward in 1st gear first. Also, I never launch it, simply because even with stronger gears the 5 speeds cant handle it.

Whatever turbo I get, it'll be something that's a direct bolt on, because otherwise I'd need to make a new uppipe/downpipe and re-route oil/coolant lines. Its just more work than its worth even if you get a killer deal on the turbo.
