Emergency...

What does this mean, low idle? Bad alternator?

How do I fix it?

Edit: wait why can't I attach pics from mobile?!?! The battery light dimly flickers and idle seems to be around a stable 650 rpm...

Around 100k miles on it, about 6 months ago we had to put a flywheel, PP, clutch and the likes on it because the dual mass flywheel had become loose, causing the clutch to slip and it was actually so bad it was rubbing on the block and transmission. Then we took the head off the old one, pics speak for themselves. He said it stalled on him when he was coasting into a parking lot, then wouldn't turn over.

That's why you don't buy a kia.

i think an actual 8 ball would be possible. i saw a thread somewhere about using a drillpress and thread insert to get the ball the attatch, and a tap to thread the shift lever on the bmw, since it doesn't have threads. cannot remember where it was, though....

i think a baseball may be a bit too large, tho. but, then again,...

and i believe the site is getting an upgrade, so pics and attatchments may not be able to be added....

Was watchin the news about the storm... Stay safe guys. Funny thing, they had a segment about "a Wisconsin generator company" beefing up production for this. As it turns out, that company is Generac and their factory is ~15 minutes from my house. If anyone watched NBC nightly news then you saw it

I bought lots of stuff lately. This week will be like Christmas

Any other place to get 'em besides (read: cheaper than) RockAuto? $227 for an OE Valeo alternator.

I drove a racecar this weekend. do recommend!

It was through a groupon gift. They were NASCAR modified cars in the rusty Wallace experience. Only got to turn left, but 500 HP was nice .

About 12 hours too late on this. I might have an alternator, but it would be at home. I was there this morning, but won't be back for three weeks.

Craigslist an alternator. Can't be too hard to find a cheap one.
