I'm learning a ton about this subject in my Writing Seminar class because our topic in radical Islam. Pretty interesting and disturbing stuff.
It may take many more and much more intelligent minds than ours (no offense) to solve this problem. Rather, to come to a solution.

Honestly, if your local Baptist church held a similar camp, no one would be concerned. When I lived in VA, my neighbors routinely had gun parties where they'd practice on their shooting range with all kinds of guns. Aside from the sound of 100s of rounds being fired per minute for around 4 hours a day, no one cared. That's America!

I doubt they had the intention of using this training to harm anyone (other than the local deer/turkey/duck population), but how do you gauge intent?

Welcome home Frank! We were starting to discuss whether to send a search & rescue party to Copiague the other day.

CJ, check with your parents. It may be covered under their house insurance. May or may not be worth going that route.

Jared, hell, for training, you should see some of the fun stuff we get to have our Army Cadets do! Let alone the sort of stuff I got to do myself as a Cadet 20 years ago. Intent means everything, it is as you say though, impossible to prove.

You're too close the coast for snow. You'll be getting rain I think. I work in Waltham right off 128, and live over by 495... supposed to be seeing about 3inch of snow I think...

I really don't feel like switching out the tires. I'll probably just rough it. 3 inchs is almost nothing.

Good call, Ed. A quick search on google tells me there's a good chance that on-campus property is covered. I'm having my parents check it out.

Sorry to bring this crap up again, but here goes.....

Taking an objective stance here, but the majority of the US pays less taxes than I do here, and far less then they do in say Western Europe. However, the quality of life is consistently greater in Western Europe than we enjoy anywhere here in North America. (Fewer hours worked per week, more vacation time, more homeowners, fewer renters). Additionally for corporations, here in NA, CEO's tend to make an average of 432% more per year than their average employee's do. Yet in Western Europe, IIRC that figure is closer to 235% more.

Yes, I am aware that corporations are FAR from small businesses. That said, I can forsee in NO way, the elitists, (or one percenters if you would rather) taking a 50% loss per year in their personal income.

Just playing Devil's Advocate, but does it not get you thinking?
As far as the healthcare goes, I have yet to see anything to help small business with tax cuts to pay for employee healthcare. Just to let you in on my situation, I currently pay more in healthcare for my wife and I than I do for my mortgage on my house by a considerable amount. The new healthcare plans will do nothing to help my situation, in fact they will more than likely increase my out of pocket expense every month for my healthcare. With the dwindling profit margins and rising costs, my company cannot afford to provide health insurance for employees, and we are in the same situation as Chadling in keeping employees work hours down. That situation does absolutely nothing to help either employees or employers with these problems. In the last 4-5 years our profit and overhead margins have dropped close to 15% with overhead increasing substantially. The future looks bleak for businesses in that situation.....

As for the NA vs Europe point I'm not debating whether life is better here or in Europe, I'm simply concerned with the sustainability of our path. Regardless of political ideals, we can't keep spending more money than we take in... My son is 1 month old today and thinking about his America when he is my age is kinda frightening should we fail to reign in the spending.

And the USA is Japan's military so I doubt they're going to do anything stupid. Same goes for SK, really, though they do have their own.

Everyone loves to talk about China effectively owning us, but it's a very long way off. Besides, the trade deficit is starting to tip again, since they are starting to buy our natural resources (like coal!).
Good points, however I'm not convinced that we aren't going to end up like Greece within the next 10 years. I'm not sure that China will "own" us, but I can see a path that will lead to huge cuts in government spending and subsequent uprisings from the citizens.....

I bought mine at a local fastener store. Search around in your area for a retail store which sells nothing but fasteners. There is usually a few in every town, and they typically cater to contractors, builders, etc. If you are unable to find a store in your area which stocks them, you might be able to find them online. If that fails, I'm certainly willing to buy them here and ship them to you for only the cost of the hardware & shipping. Heck, if you want, I can assemble the whole hardware kit for you including the crusher "tools", bolts, washers, etc.

One additional note: be sure that you buy the zinc plated steel nutserts. Many you will find are aluminum, which you do not want.
