Good grief. Anyway I was thinking about your exhaust and you might want to use a jack to support the rear while you align the manifold gasket with the rest of the system, then work backwards instead of forwards like we had. Which means you'll have to drop the rear again...

Is that how you did the clutch? I don't mind that terribly since the bolts are all nice and loose now, but I'll probably give it one more shot first.

How did that go btw?

Still no parts... I should just put the intake mani back on.

I did remove the pressure plate and the clutch. The clutch is worn pretty severely, to the point that the pressure plate has nice grooves in it from rubbing on the rivets!

So I just need transmission bolts and intake manifold nuts, then I can put it all back together.

I forked out the extra cash for some Silverstars at Advance today since one of my headlight bulbs burnt out. Not really overwhelmed, but the improvement was noticeable. Maybe it'll be more noticeable once I adjust them.

Dude, Silverstars are 100% garbage. You'll be lucky if you get a year out of them.

I had them in my Maxima. Never seemed to make a worthwhile difference in terms of light output, and then they burned out after about 14 months. I looked them up again and found countless stories of premature failure with them.

Well they have a 12 month warranty, so I'm not too worried about that. But damn, I though they were supposed to be the good ones. What was I supposed to get?

I've heard good things about PIAA Xtreme White Series bulbs. They're more expensive, though.

Eh, that claim is a bit of a stretch by my eye. Both have long hoods and short rears, but that's about where the styling similarities stop. It does make sense that they share similar profiles, though, since they're gunning for the same turf.

Yeah, but that Dodge has a much nicer interior than anything from Ford or GM. I've never been a Chrysler fan (at all, really), but I think this new Viper is going to be a great, great car. It's special enough in every regard that I separate it from its parent company entirely. The rest of Chrysler, on the other hand, hasn't been able to make an even halfway decent vehicle since the late '60s / early '70s. Only exception to that would be the the current Ram (but I'd probably still go for an F150...).

Those 300s look pretty baller from the outside, never seen one within 10 feet personally.

Id buy an F150

And I'd sleep in it.

Rode in a Wrangler once... 2010 rubicon unlimited ... no doors, top, 33" tires with rock star wheels, 4x4 with a nice 3.8 v6... v8 would have been better...

I like those rubicons. Totally different from a BMW though.

Guess I still have some redneck in me.
