for all things FLR you should talk to a man names Jermey Keck, he races down there and in out CNY events, he could tell you about the conditions of that track, ill mention you on a comment on FB so you can chat with him. Nice fellow

If you'd prefer then:

Again, there are far more.

My only point was that in racing in any form there are accidents.

still not the right rallycross

but I get your point, a kid did roll his subaru last year @ STPR by hitting a hay bail at 20mph (so now hay bails are banned ) stuff can happen, but you only have to drive as fast or as hard as you want.

Rallycross is about the safest form of dirt motorsport you can try.

as is autocross to tarmac racing

Picked up car. I love that thing. It's so purrrdy. And you can't tell it has clearcoat covering unless you already know it's there :-)

Yikes. I opted for the 2 ton so theres no way I'll overload it. I built in a factor of safety to try and avoid failed hydraulics.

Go get one, don't regret it. About a year ago I missed out on a gorgeous blue over grey 01 540i/6 Sport that was loaded for a great price by about 18 hours, I was kicking myself like crazy.

And I have the aluminum 1.5ton rapid pump. Seal blew when lifting one side of the Disco (4400# curb weight so it should have been well within spec).

I typically trust rated specs to at least their limit because I know the factor of safety most engineers use is very large especially with a nearly static load. With HF, it's a whole different ballgame. I think they test their tool till it breaks, then round up to the nearest 1000 for the rating. "Hrm, this one gave out at 2600#. Alright, that's close enough to 3k. Call it a 3000# jack and put it up for sale!"
