Heads up. Velocity channel (281 on DirecTV) is running "Rallying: The Killer Years " RIGHT NOW. They don't list any repeat broadcasts, but I'm sure they'll show it again soon.

I say go for it! If the 0-60 is in the mid 6s, it's going to accelerate about as fast as a 328, but that's not bad, and it probably has tons of tuning possibilities if you really wanted to bump it up. I think it's a solid choice.

Joey, what about an FX35?

Look sharp, nice interior, AWD for the 1%, and a VQ engine that sounds good and should be decent on gas.

I think Joe's price range is about 1/3 the current selling price of an FX35. And without a 6 speed, they are blah cars. (and that funky oval clock in the center of the dash just looks wicked cheap).

Joe, I like the MazdaSpeed6. Wicked reliable and with a nice interior at its price point. I seriously considered that car...before I test drove the 318ti....then I test drove the 330 ZHP...and a year later, I ended up in a m3.

Yeah, I noticed that little addition to the Series masthead this morning. I feel the same way. I wish they'd create a Series 4 subforum all by itself. Or better yet, BMW should forget having a Series 4 and call it what it is.

Man, those Group B cars were vicious before they were banned by the FIA. The morons that line the roads at WRC events learned nothing from what happened to many of the Group B spectators. If "Rally: The Killer Years" comes on again, you need to watch it. Incredible cars, incredible drivers.

Will do, CJ. I'm going to try and get my brother to DVR it (I don't have one) and put it on a DVD. He did that with the Grand Prix special a while back.
