yeah man, the only difference on E36's are between OBD1 and OBD2. OBD1 cars have a Y pipe that goes 2-1 then back to 2. and OBD2 cars and duals all the way back.

There's a sweet low mileage X5 4.8is in Santa Cruz for <20k. If it were me I'd get that. The 3.0 is a good engine, but you'll have a better experience with the V8.

My buddy Eddie has ordered THOUSANDS of dollars worth of parts from Pelican and never got jelly beans or a discount certificate or anything. ($3000 in JUST E24 parts so far)

The first $23 worth I ordered came with jelly beans. I did several more orders of $150-$300 and got another tin of jelly beans plus a discount certificate each time, and a toolbox magnet!

I've never gotten jelly beans They usually give me $10 off coupon, but with a time limit to use it...

I like it, but it looks a little too bold for my dads tastes methinks. He's not going to pay extra for the performance.

We did, however, find an 05 4.4 loaded to the hilt for 16k with 80k on it. Everything, nav, PDC, CWP, sport pkg, comfort seats, all that jazz. He's gonna check em both out. 05 has the N62 so he likes the idea of more power with more gas mileage.

That has got to be one of the most mammothly a$$inine things I have ever seen someone do, let alone video. It's one thing to go out on a completely deserted road and have some fun. The risk choices are all yours as are the consequences. To do it in a densely populated high traffic density area took the choice away from all of the cars and pedestrians shown in the video.
Sorry CJ but can't see the cool in this under any circumstances.

Go for the n62 if he has deep pockets and doesn't want to DIY. If you will be doing the work on it for him, I would suggest the M54 or M62. I love the M62, and i'm just getting acquainted with it. I have done quite a bit of work on our X, and I am diggin on the V8 power I would tell your dad to talk to the PO about the CCV on both cars since they seem to fail in conditions of high humidity and low temp.

I agree with the deserted part. I only do that kind of stuff where the worst case scenario is tearing up my car. I don't do it to where I could hurt myself(in regards to sliding).

He's a talented driver for sure. But I gotta agree that he's a asshat for doing that in crowded roads with traffic. Where is local LE though??

this. it is insanely irresponsible and stupid, however cars going sideways and making I6 noises are always nice. My mom doesn't drive and on nights when she works late and my dad can't get her I pick her up. our town has a rotary in the middle and around 11pm is completely deserted,and if you leave a deserted rotary without going the least bit sideways, i challange you as a man.
