I hope this is not the part of the show where Chris Hansen busts in and tells me to sit down.

Got the edirty up to 25 mpg. Been using 87 octane. Gonna see how it responds to 93.

Is documenting all my fluid swaps (except engine oil) a good idea for a DIY thread? Figured since I was doing them all anyway I might as well do it for a thread for a sticky or something? For all the new people like me. Some of pelican's are a little vague.

That's amazing Matt. 27 mpg from a car that looked like it did not long ago. If you get bored now that you're done you can always install a turbo in my 328 for me! :-)

but your rent is like $445 bucks... you'll probably spend more in gas each month.

Move in with girlfriend?

totally worth it for the $$$. especially if your mom is low impact in your personal business.

Mein Auto: who knows?
she would stay out of my ****. and i wouldn't have to pay rent.

It would be 30 miles each way to-from work.

some 40 miles to school 2 days a week.

not sure how much gas would be.

my girlfriend in my area currently is the only thing thats holding me from packing up my **** right now.

or i can just lower my rent myself and make my roommates pay more for being ****s.

Gas depends on if you're cruising or sitting in peak traffic. You'll come close to the same amount you're paying in rent.

Why not look for new roommates? And I thought things weren't so hot with your mom?

Yeah my friend in Roanoke said she almost crashed into a truck that had managed to get stuck covering the entire road right after a blind corner. She missed it by about an inch by slamming her poor little scooby into reverse.

No snow up here luckily, if I see a flake I am bugging out of the office. I refuse to get stuck in traffic with all these idiots in a RWD car. I trust my own skills to get me home in moderate snow in an E36 because I've done in before, but I don't trust any of the other 100,000 idiots on the roads up here.

Franklyn I commute just under 30 miles a day (round trip) and gas can cost me anywhere from $200-250/mo. Just a data point for you.

Honestly if I could've gotten a job within driving distance of my parents I would've loved to go home and save up some money before getting my own place for at least a year, but if I was living in Roanoke I wouldn't be working in the industry I actually want to be in, so I didn't see the point. I'm also pretty sure my parents wanted me gone.

I drive 50 miles round trip 2 times a day most of the year. You get used to it. The 328 tallies 23.4 with stop and go half the drive and wide open the other half. It's hard to go back once you have been out of your parents house though.

At just over 100 miles round trip daily, plus an average of 2.5 fill ups for Brittany, I was around 800/mo. When CA had that had crunch in Sept and we were at $5/gal and I was taking the Discovery, it was almost $800 just for me.

We've had months where total gas expenditure topped $1200.

Train ticket for $200/mo with having only 20mi round trip of actual driving now kicks so much ass its not even funny.

Stay where you are bro.

Good luck!

If the back starts sliding around pull out the video camera. You can make an e36 response to that asshat drifting the e34 m5.

your car has some type of voodoo hex on it, i swear. i would literally just completely swap an entirely different running gear in it and be done with it's cheeky shenanigans.
