Competition.

Beauty of the free market.

There is some competition by the dealers now, but not a huge amount because many people aren't willing to risk jail time for profits.

Legal = no jail time = more suppliers = more competition = those with the best selections and prices will be able to set up shops.

If someone wants to grow it in their backyard for themselves, let them. If someone wants to set up a corner store, let them. If someone wants to run a delivery service, let them. Penalize anyone without a business license.

There's no longer a benefit to running it illegally, so The legitimate players take over and the shady ones lose.

Should it be legalized? Yes. But I can not think of a fool-proof plan to "weed" out all the local dealers and have high revenue. No matter what the dealers are going to exist. The government and us both know that to be true, but the question is how can the government quit letting all the cash flow go untaxed?

Local stores, and even large chains, can supply a quality product. They have THC testing labs, independent reviewers, etc. The cartels and gangs will fall by the wayside as they can't compete with people who can do real volume.

I didn't say accurate fire, just how many rounds you can get out of the muzzle in a minute. Mind you, fully auto isn't any more accurate...

My own record was 500 rounds in a minute.

Well, at the risk of getting pretty graphic, at very close distances high velocity rounds go straight through the body so while the individual has been wounded unless you've hit a critical organ they can still shoot back at you for some period of time.
With some stand off, the bullet enters the body at a lower velocity and doesn't exit. It bounces around internally and does massive damage taking the individual immediately out of the fight.

100 percent make pot legal. I've never smoked it or anything, but I say tax the crap out of it. And I know I'll get hated on for this, but I think cigarette, and all tobacco tax should be hugely increased. Possibly even alcohol. Cut down on taxes that we MUST pay, and increase taxes on non necessities and things that harm the human body and others around you.

If you complain because a pack of smokes is too expensive and your pos 88 corrola broke down, blame no one but yourself. You can quit smoking whenever you want.

Charleston would cease to exist at 10 degrees. Most plumbing in the historic district is run outside the brick walls. I live outside the city with indoor piping but my well line is only buried to 6 inches! By the way you wouldn't happen to have a recommendation for a good pair of touch screen gloves would you?

Find an FFL dealer in your area that will allow you to order via internet. They usually charge you anywhere from $10-$50 per transaction, but that allows you to get internet pricing, not gun shop mark ups. I bought my K98 Mauser this way and saved close to $150 on it (paid $225 for one with Wehrmacht markings still intact which is rare). If you find a guy that does it as a hobby, and perhaps show proof of your admittance to the Police Academy they may give you a big break on the transfer fee.

I also say legalize and tax the fricken crap out of it, I also agree on a tax hike for cigs and booze. I'm sure people spend more annually on tobacco and booze than they do in taxes in some places.

I would much rather raise taxes on things you don't need, and lower things you do, ie food clothes homes property taxes etc.

You can ask Springfield what their supply time is, but it would depend entirely on where you buy the gun. Smaller dealer are probably lower down the food chain. So a big internet dealer shipping to a private FFL would be the route I choose. Some may even have it in stock. Doubtful, but possible.
Nice choice BTW, I like Springfield's weapons and they have an interesting history too. Still a Beretta guy though. I've fired over 3,000 rounds and never had a single jam. Tight groups too, even at 75 ft.

Is anyone else having issues with the bimmerapp for iPhone?

My phone keeps restarting itself, and apple is saying that my bimmerapp keeps crashing... not sayings the reason my phone is restarting, but that it keeps crashing. I removed the app, to see if it helps...

i also have the 4s, not sure which software version, i'm pretty sure i'm current with the most recent though
okay just looked for it i too am running 6.0.1. I haven't had many issues with the app, specifically it crashing. I have plenty of other apps that crash often, IE: facebook and instagram but bimmerapp isnt one of them. if it helps, my carrier is AT&T and most of the time i'm hooked up to wifi my modem firmware version is 3.0.04
