it was a good game for sure, I don't know where our defense went but they hung poor Rask out to dry, buffalo earned that one.

Vanek Pominville And Ennis finally showed up to play some hockey its been a rough start for us they may finally be turning it around ( I hope). Was a great game though. Yeah at the end of the second half I think the Bruins didnt really wanna play defense anymore

Picking the cat up from the vet last night Lauren and I saw a woman who was on the verge of a nervous breakdown because her dog had a tick, and she touched the tick, and then on the way to the vet to have the tick removed, touched her eye. She was basically demanding a diagnosis of whether or not she had lyme disease from the vet, getting gradually more and more hysterical when the vet couldn't answer her question.

1.) Who owns a dog and is too squeamish to pull a tick? and 2.) If you're the type of person who has a nervous breakdown about minor chances of infection, don't touch a tick then touch your eye!

In other news, the cat is home and doing fine, they gave us a regimen of narcotics to knock her off her ass for the next few days while her mouth heals up. Luckily she doesn't seem to be going after her incision, so we weren't putting her in the cone of shame when we could keep an eye on her, but when we're sleeping and at work it has to go on. Its amazing how hard it is to get something on a 9lb cat that it doesn't want...

In other, other news, has anyone seen "Jiro Dreams of Sushi?" Its a documentary about an 85 year old sushi chef who's been mastering his craft for 75 years. Its a beautiful film, and his dedication to his craft is incredibly inspiring and also kind of makes you feel like a lazy piece of sh!t for working less than 18 hours a day.

I feel the same way every time I have to put my cat in the carrier. It's like origami with razor edged paper. Have to fold her in half and slide her in back feet first, then slam the door on her head. Then she screams bloody murder the whole way to the vet.

Sometimes I think if you have to have a license to catch a fish, you definitely should have to have one to own a dog or reproduce. I've also noticed hypochondriacs project their paranoia on their animals. Sick people have sick pets. Like tick lady.

I work for the federal government, anything over 3 hours a day is a stretch.
But we are the only country to have a holiday dedicated to eating yourself into a coma (Thanksgiving).

By the way Ken, I actually played in a pick up game with Rich Peverley here on Christmas Eve several years ago when he was with the Stingrays. Nice dude, he was playing just for fun and was great to everyone playing. I don't even think he shot one time, never showed off, and he set me up for my best game ever, 5 goals. So I pull for the Bruins in the east, just because of how cool he was. It was pretty cool to see him lift the cup and think, that guy assisted on 5 of my goals!

Why is that soo cheap??

I'd buy it. It's ceramic which is easier engaging than feramic.

Trying to figure out how the heck and where to mount a single 12" sub needs 7" for mounting depth and would probably have to be 15x15" box 9" deep? chime in with pics of yours bimmer I wanna see your location of the sub amp Please whether I just buy a prebuilt box for the easy way out or I build a custom by the brakelight covers?

I bought a sealed pickup truck box from Crutchfield from a clearance outlet. I've got a 10" Kenwood (I think its 10") and just a 250W B-rate brand amp. I like good sound but I'm not an audiophile, and I like bass but I don't need to shake the windows of stores that I drive by, so its a perfect setup for me.

The box is so thin it leaves 90% of the usable space in the trunk, and I have a bass controller mounted in front of the shifter so I can tweak it per song. If I go from a rap song to something acoustic I have to turn it way down because the bass is so overdone.

Thanksssss Tried looking for a shallow no mounting depths that match my sub have to go with a box 16x13x12 losing 40 pounds from the box and another 25 from the other sub so loss of 65lbs. Oh well don't need it and its a PITA. Current setup after the switch should be just shy of 35ish...which is beans compared to the original 100+...

All of this: truth. I can't even think of anything to add to this, and I had a diatribe all ready to go in my head at the tick lady story.

You guys! The Warriors are so good this year! Saw them last night. Bro bought us tix (in the nosebleeds, but w/e).

Riding BART is a lesson in culture. I did NOT get pick-pocketed.

I would agree, generally. After about the first hour, I began to grow bored. I was like: okay, I get it. He's passionate about his craft!

Heya! Well that's the intent, i'm on 5 days straight so far. She's doing well, even better after this weekend when I can drive her again. Trust me, I am so counting the hours now. Yep I sure did! I'll change my sig tonight to reflect the changes since I don't remember which thread I posted the recent pics in. Er, maybe I'll wait til the updated sunroof is back in.

I forgot to say: MY BRAKE PADS ARE HEEEEEEEEEREEEEE!!! Happy dance time!!!

Passat Update;
Got a new ignition switch, fires right up and purrs like a kitten. Took it for a spin and discovered the ebrake is frozen on the right side, good thing Vdot didn't bother plowing my road this morning.
When I tried replace the old pinch clamp off of the leaking coolant hose to replace it with a proper hose clamp I ended up breaking the old plastic coolant flange, ordered a new one from Napa so I should be good to go in the morning.
