What are you going to do with the frozen ebrake? Tape a ski to that wheel?

I've been soaking it inWD40 and pulling it in and out, seams like it's doing something, I know it rolled all the way from Maryland so I figure it con't be al that bad.

Got a new ignition switch, fires right up and purrs like a kitten. Took it for a spin and discovered the ebrake is frozen on the right side, good thing Vdot didn't bother plowing my road this morning.
When I tried replace the old pinch clamp off of the leaking coolant hose to replace it with a proper hose clamp I ended up breaking the old plastic coolant flange, ordered a new one from Napa so I should be good to go in the morning.

Nice chip! Seems to be going much more smoothly than the truck.

those cars look like dedicated track cars that they're driving on the street.

no dash, minimal instrumentation/interior, rollcages...

I have to say, 1 big improvement from the e46 325 to the M3. No gauge telling me how bad my gas mileage is. I always felt guilty looking at that darn gauge in the snowmobile! And like I don't know already that I am killing the planet...

How's the M treating you?

Also who wants to buy some random m50 pieces? Also I got the whole wiring harness too.

Dino still contemplating doing M50 swap. But it doesn't seem worth it for me, just based on what I want outta this car.

It gives more omph in the top end but you lose bottom end torque unless you get a tune according to CJ

He used to be an avid cyclist. He was behind in training for a ride and decided to get in a very early morning ride (4 a.m.) but didn't want to be out on the streets that early. He went to the high school track which was near his house and was doing really high speed laps. After 30-45 minutes he got in a zone and was cranking along just looking down at the lane lines. A woman came out on the track to walk her dog, and neither of them knew the other was there until the collision. Broken collarbone, broken wrist, fractured pelvis, and severe concussion was the result. He's now concluded that bicycles are just motorcycles without the motor.

i had a brutal bicycle accident in jr.high school, i was cruising down a hill at a high rate of speed with my little brother next to me, and for whichever reason i grabbed the brakes, and did so with too much gusto and front flipped into the pavement in tandem with my brother, we both fractured our hands in the same exact spot on the same side, our doctor at the time dubbed us "crash and smash"

And thank goodness he did. This little girl has been rescued from a life where her mother was a crack addict so lost in addiction that she would literally hand her child over to dealers so they could have sex with her.

Nicholas will likely be in prison so long that she will never have even a shot in hell of regaining custody, giving this child a real chance of getting therapy, getting help, and hopefully living a normal life.

That's an incredible gift for someone to give a child, especially a child they didn't know. And I can't help thinking about the bravery it took for this man to speak out.

Speaking out likely brought attention to himself, something the homeless population is known to shy away from. And speaking out to a cop in particular must have been difficult. The homeless and the police tend to have a rather fraught relationship. He didn't know what this could mean for him. Could it have gotten him in trouble? Who knows.

The point is, this man saw a child being hurt, and he didn't think of himself. He thought of her. He rescued her.

If only there were more knights like him in this world."

^^ The only unfortunate thing in that story is that the mother wasn't shot on site.. The girl's life is probably ruined already, and, IMO, the mother should pay with her life.

That's awful.



In better news, we are officially in contract on the new house! Progress is moving fast!



It's kinda painful though, the sales rep there is a compete airhead, to put it nicely. Possibly even inept. Everything takes much more work than it should
