Nopes.... Actually have an office in SF.
Ever heard of MPR associates in SF? We just bought them. Trying to expand the west coast thing. My company HQ is actually in NC.

I'll look tomorrow what's available. Even if you're not interested, I'm now curious to see...

Now we're talking. This might be awesome. I think my life will be complete if I get a new job from a bimmerfest contact.

Ok, finally got the test severs playing nice to each other, mostly back in business. Thanks to all this crap, I'll be taking the 6am train and returning on the 8.15pm train until this is sorted. Should be a blast.

Great documentary about Sir. Jackie Stewart. The host has some pretty awesome cars, too.

i think the brake light switch finally crapped out on me. all three lights work fine but the second my foot hits the pedal i get the dreaded "brake light circuit" message on the OBC.

Eh, it's only $25 to replace the brake circuit switch.

I think Ed is just pulling our leg to get attention. He ain't leaving the great white north

I, on the other hand, look like I'm headed to the great hot south. 1 month in Thailand, hopefully beginning a week from Saturday (if I can get my boss to finally sign off). Itinerary

Week 1: Volunteer on an elephant preserve http://www.surinproject.org/
Week 2-2.5: Backpack at the beach and/or bike up thru the northern highlands
Week 2.5-3.5: Scuba trip thru the islands off Phuket/Southwest Thailand (fish soup really starts around the 2 minute mark!)

Week 3.5 to 4: Bum around Bangkok.

If I didn't love cars and material goods so much, part of me would really like to move overseas and do nonprofit work again. But then how would I support my BMW addiction

Yeah, I hear ya. I changed mine in a quiet parking ramp near my house so I wouldn't be rained on. Also, it is very helpful if you have a headlamp for this job. You need both hands and a good amount of light to see what's going on. Oh, and as I found out, you also need persistence... For me, removal of the old switch was as easy as crunching it with some ViseGrips, but installing the new one was oddly difficult. I think I'm in the minority in this instance, though. I don't know why it was so hard to get in with my car. Just didn't want to, until it did.

I can't decide on wheels, I currently have a set of style 5s, 42s and rpf1s...

I really like style 66s, 65s and the 42s...

Can't decide on which to throw on my car, somebody il wants to trade my style 5s for the 66s... Should I?

Not the minority Karl, mine was a pita to fiddle in there too haha.

Good idea with the headlamp, my stupid light kept rolling around on me.

Just did a quick run through on my taxes. Even after bumping my exemptions way up after last year my quick numbers show a refund of about 1700+. Nice! Time to adjust the allowances even more.

Only thing I wish about my E36 is for less miles....
At the awkward spot where it not a ton, not really bragging rights, just a lot.

Nice! This is the first year I have worked full time without major education expenses to claim, I have no idea what to expect, I might even owe this year.

The education credits make a huge difference.

Are you 1098 or W2? If you're W2 and have your withholding at the standard 1 or 2, I'd be very surprised if you owe.
