Also since I did my new sticker I have this one on the car which is original too. BMW Von Tief is still in business too and they sold my car originally to my PO's father.

Power rear vent windows = one more thing to break, IMO. Interesting feature to have if your car came with them, but I wouldn't pursue them on my own. That's just me, though. I'm always wishing for things to be as bare bones simple as possible.

Yes and yes, don't know yet, CEL came on before work, co-worker has an obd2 scanner in his car and I just pulled the codes, going to check the gas cap on my break!

Don't feel like removing the manifold to replace the camshaft sensors

Good news is that you don't. There's only one, and it's right in the front of the valve cover.

I'm just throwing this out there, but has anyone here seen the movie Shooter? Or better yet, read the book "Point of Impact"by Stephen Hunter?

Has anyone else noticed the similarities between Bob Lee Swagger and Christopher Dorner? The holing up in a wood building, having it catch fire, then having the remains identified by dental records?

Does anyone recall what happened next in the movie/book?

I saw Shooter. Excellent plot twists. No, haven't read Point of Impact, but I'm going to guess and say big Bob Lee turned up alive shortly thereafter, and you think Dorner might do the same?

Bob lee was identified by his dental records, that he had just switched at his own dentists with those of a dead man.

I am no conspiracy theorist, but there are a helluva lot of coincidences that made me look again on this.

^ I have not seen that movie, but I have seen that plot twist 5+ times. I would not worry about the record being switched unless you see the lead detective take off his sun glasses , look at the camera and say a bad pun. Then you know that you are watching a cop drama and the records could have been switched.

Transmission has been acting funky on and off :/ . Was driving home last night down the highway doing about 65 wouldn't shift down from 4k RPM until i slowed down a little bit. This morning it felt sort of like it was bogging down. And after about ten minutes of driving all this went away.... and it pulled fine from 1st on *confused* no engine lights or any weird codes.

This was a great movie. But remember, it was just a movie staring Boston's own Mark Walhberg.

Shooter was amazing. I think they shot coroner and threw him in cabin and burnt it then.

^This^

The connector for the sensor is under the manifold but you can get to it without removing the intake mani. If it turns out to be the cam position sensor let me know. I have a few tips since I just replaced mine a couple months ago.

Yes, "he took time out from his busy pants-dropping schedule" to make that movie.

10 points to whomever can name the movie that quote came from.

Well my brother had his court day today from a DUI charge from months back and he got 15 more months added. Really ruins my day/weekend. Miss him, just wish he would learn from his mistakes...he and I are so different.
